"No, nothing that I know of" Fay said and smiled at the two "Thank you for helping me when I needed it. Is there anything I can do to repay the two of you?"

Danika shook her head and smiled at them both "I don't need anything really." The only thing she could even think of would be to have her memory back, but she wouldn't ask for that

Aaran nodded and took a sip of his own water. For a minute there, he had thought the king had tricked him into wearing the pendant so that he could control him. He held up the pendant in the light and stared at it curiously. Now that he was looking at it carefully, he could see markings similar to the drawing.

Taylor put on her poker face and walked over to the group,"What's going on?"

Nisha gasped when she remembered Jeffrey,"BRB!" She jogged over to the house and opened the door,"Jeffrey?" She whispered quietly.

Jeffrey crawled father under the couch, sulking. She had yelled at him so she would suffer the consequences.

Nisha sighed when she saw a flash of red feathers under the couch and moved the couch a little bit. Jeffrey squeaked and tried to waddle away but Nisha scooped him up in her arms,"Gotcha!" She took him outside while stroking his feathers,"Good boy." She whispered.

Jeffrey stuck his head under her arm, still sulking.

Kristen smiled and slipped her hand into his,"I'm ready. So what are we going to do about Markus?" She asked seriously.

Enoch looked at Aaran curiously. "What are you looking for?" He asked.

Nashton followed Taylor over to the van and the small group.

Zypher looked to Taylor as he was loading a few guns into the back of the van. "Markus's men are on the way. Both Anna and myself, still have trackers in us. So Ashton is taking us to a vet colleague of hers." He explained.

As Anna helped her to the van, Aurelius looked over to see Nisha with Jeffrey. She smiled happily at her new friends.

Orson sighed and said, "I guess what ever it takes. He doesn't seem like he's going to give up on capturing us all."

Aaran shrugged,"Nothing really. It's just that the pendant has changed colors since I got it. See?" He held it out,"It used to be a milky sort of white and now it's translucent and a bluish white. I wonder if it's like a mood necklace." He joked.

Nisha smiled slightly and waved. Optimistic people creeped her out. They could, say, have a seizure and come out of it smiling. It meant that they were either really brave or really stupid.

Kristen scowled,"I hate being right. It's like the stupid guy is invincible."

The waiter wrote what she wanted down, "Alright." She said and walked away. Sirène looked around, "I think most humans would be sick to know that mermaids eat seafood, since we are fish ourselves. But fish like sharks eat other sea creatures, so I don't see why they don't think it's normal." She told Keldwyn.

Keldwyn looked at Sirène and said, "I don't think they'd be sick to know you at sea food, just relieved that you ate something other than humans. " She then smiled mischievously at her.

Star frowned and looked outside again. "He was taller than the humans he was with. He had dark blond hair and light eyes, though I don't know the color."

Kyra smiled happily as they left the city behind, She was glad that they didn't have to stay there. It had not been the best impression on her.

Anna moved to help her stand and give her support to go to the van.

Jackie looked to Sergio then turned to go inside "We can give them a bit of protection too, while they are loading up" she said and grabbed a bag then headed for the van. She was going to put a protection spell on the van for them to be safe inside it.

Ender took the details and committed them to memory. "I promise that once Prince Vatgkan is taking care of, I'll find this human."

Zypher nodded to Taylor and Nashton as they both climbed into the van behind the front seat. He look at Jason and handed him the address to the vet that Ashton had given him.

Ashton came over and climbed in next to Aurelius. She started checking her over. Checking her pupils dilation. She shook her head, "She seems fine. are you epileptic?" She asked slightly confused.

Aurelius just shook her head no. She didn't want to go into it, right now. They had to get going.

Sergio followed Jackie curiously. "You mean like the spell on the house? That's truly amazing. May I learn this spell, Jackie? " She asked hopefully.

Dawn laughed as she picked up a slice of meat.

"That is the shifter that helped the humans" Starr corrected softly then sighed and went to sit down again. "I do not know if any of them still live, it was a long time ago" She added then drank her juice.

Angela looked up at the growing darkness with concern. "We won't reach it tonight." She said quietly then looked to Nektar again. That was one thing about flying, it was faster than walking, though she didn't mind the extra time with him.

Kyra also watched for the hidden prize. She wouldn't let them pass by it and stopped when they reached the bush, waiting to see if he would notice or try to walk past.

Jackie smiled at Sergio and nodded "I don't mind if you learn it, it'll be good for you to know anyway, just in case" She said then held out one hand to her and the other to the van as she started to chant the spell. She didn't mind Sergio learning most of her spells, though there were some she would want forgotten instead of learned if they ever came to light. Soon enough, the spell was finished, though the bag she had brought out was now empty and hung limply from her extended hand.

Anna settled in the seat after giving Auelius' hand a squeeze "No problem" She said then looked to Zypher again "We can go as soon as Jackie is done."
