"I used to live in Rinca, but I was very young then." Merton said simply. It wasn't a lie, but he of course wasn't saying his whole story to a human. "So, I'm guessing you live in the city?" He asked in a conversational manner. Unlike most shifters, Merton didn't have a grudge against all humans. Having a conversation with one didn't bother him whatsoever.

Keldwyn nodded and went a little closer. She saw humans with sticks hitting colorful balls. "What do you think it is?" She inquired. ~~~ "Fascinating and yes, you would be right. I do live in a city. I have a studio apartment right above my gallery." Nix explained. "What about you? Do you live in the city or the suburbs?"

Aaran grabbed two plates and started filling them,"Okay, but why couldn't the king sense his fire magic? Am I the only one who could feel that?"

Taylor watched him walk away,"You know, you could've just asked me to not meet Ray tomorrow. I would've listened to you. It's not that big of a deal." She bit her lip and walked away.

Kristen shifted and tried not to stare. "No snuggling? At all?" She pouted,"Okay you're not fat."

Enoch looked to Aaran and said, "Fire is not the king's element, time stopping is. So it would appear, that you were the only one to feel it. Which is good, because it told us something was wrong."

Nashton turn to look at Taylor's back as she walked away. He then said. "No, you were right the first time. I have no right to tell you how to live your life, Taylor. We aren't married and we don't know eachother well enough to be anything more then a crush. So I've come to the realization that perhaps we need a little space. Life is more the constantly kissing and hugging. I was being childish and immature. I realize that now and I think I finally grew up a little."

"Oh? Just that easily?! But you forget, I have a long memory. " Orson said with a chuckle. He stopped cold when he saw the strange vehicle and Jackie's driveway.

Jackdaw stood back from the large castle and smiled with approval. "It looks great and we make a pretty good team. But the shells will make a difference. " said as he started to look around for some.

Pyro got to the cave, but there was nowhere to land safely. He'd have to find an opening in the canopy of trees.

Aeval quickly shifted, before she was seen. She then followed after Dust.

Dawn went off to gather shells. She'd never seen shells before so she grabbed a large majority of rocks as well, just to be safe.

Zia looked down at her hands. Her knuckles were white so she loosened her grip...barely.

(He feels safer in that form. The city is strange so he rather be ready to attack if needed.)

Dust looked over at her before reluctantly shifting. "Well, I guess we better be prepared for the worse...."

Taylor turned back around her cheeks burning,"I don't know what's gotten into you. Do you think that I would kiss you if I saw you as just a crush?! If that's all you see me as then you're just cruel. I'm fine if you want space, but do you think of me as just a crush?" Taylor asked seriously.

Jackdaw started putting the shells in a few choice places. He'd then go look for more. When he saw the stones, he smiled at Dawn. "That's a great idea, they will be perfect on the castle. " He said excitedly.

Pyro finally searched out an opening and landed on the forest floor. "We'll have to walk a bit." Pyro said.

Degan was glad to land. His wings felt like yhe could fall off any minute. He shifted to human and flopped out on the ground. "40 is to old to be flying! " He complained.

Aeval grunted, "I pity the human that messes with us." She said truthfully.

Degan growled, but stopped, "Even growling hurts."

Now Merton was a little confused, for he didn't know just what the suburbs were. Though it would probably to closer to the truth than a lie. "In the suburbs." He blurted out. "The city is beautiful in the night, though. "

Dust was silent and tense as he walked. Humans were weird, two-legged, fools. They were more focused on their devices than the world around them. He reasoned that he could walk in warg form and none would notice.
