Navar's frown deepened. He looked down both hallways before guiding her to the massive windows across from the library. He sat down on the wide ledge of the window. " How do you feel you betrayed him? By escaping?" He inquired softly.

Phury felt a sharp pain in his hands as sharp spikes drove deeply into his flash and engaged. He tried to let go, but it was too late now. He was getting pulled by the dragon, no matter how hard he tried to stop. Pyro looked to the burning bodies. "They already did that. So Mr. brimstone is all ours, hook, line and sinker!" He said with enthusiasm.

Navar gave her a dole stare. "Through a closed window, of which I have no clue how to open. Now stop stalling and tell me the truth." He said a little more seriously.

Pyro was pleased that he'd made his lady happy. But that was short lived as one of Phury's horns pierced his tail. He roared his pain and thrashed out with a hind leg to try to dislodge it.

John led the way to this building with stairs out front and had all glass doors. She slipped in as he held the door for Dust and Aeval.

"Thank you, you are so kind." She said softly with a bowed head.

Sirène nodded. "Every human gets what they deserve in the end, if they mess with a mythical creature. Many are much less forgiving, and seek revenge unlike normal creatures." She said.

Larry sighed, "Yes. Though Markus isn't immortal, it'll have to end one day." He said. "I'm sure many shifters know about him, since many of their kind have been captured. They'll probably just wait for the right moment to attack."

(I almost missed this. ) Keldwyn smiled a conspirators smiled at Sirène. "Absolutely!" She said with gusto. ~~~ Sabra shrugged once again. "Perhaps." Was all she said on the matter.

Eragog nodded and shifted to his spider form, making an ear piercing screech-like noise before shifting back to his human form and shooting.


The other 250 spiders in the cave heard the call and, staying in their spider forms, half of the group headed to the location of the fight, climbing up trees to stay hidden and jumping from tree top to tree top, wanting to asses what was going on before fighting.

(Hope it's okay if more spiders come. They won't be using guns, just trying to bite and kill. I did mention in a post that Earl wanted to be near his cave so he could call more spiders if needed.)

Omen was vaguely aware of what happened. He just felt the excruciating pain of the cold seawater hitting him and stinging his wound as it put out his fire. He weakly shifted and started swimming for shore.

Chaos advanced on Don. But instead of acid or fire. He used the paralysing saliva on him. He coughed it full in the face. He was the leader and Markus wanted all leaders of the shifters. He was his sole focus now. Once he was out, he'd slip the special collar on him. It'll transport him to a holding cell at the base. A bit of fey summoning magic at work.

Falkirk held very still when Star kissed his cheek. His heart was beating like a fairy's wings. But he didn't want to ruin this. He didn't want her to think badly of him. He'd already kissed her and hadn't let his intentions be known. He had to rectify it. He gathered his courage and turned slightly to face her. "Princess Star, would I... Could I dare to hope...that we could possibly become intended? If this is all to fast, I'll understand. I have more time then I have anything else. So the prospect of a maybe will sustain me for a century." He said shyly.

Graydon had seen this part on tv. He found a fairly sharp edged rock and started scrapping the fat off the hide.

The explosion startled Keira. She darted back behind a tree. But as she looked back at the vehicles, there wasn't any. She howled long and loud in their shared victory. She was going to like this pack. She may just stay.

Zypher grinned at the explosion. It was a beautiful sight.

Wrath forgot about the battle. He was too busy trying to save the body of Elena from the scattered remains of the vehicles. A large flaming piece of the SUV covered half her lifeless body. He cut and burned his hands in his efforts. He cried piteously at his failed efforts.

Bertram took of in a full gallop. He listened as Jackie guided him.

Aurora swam up and caught the human shape and brought him to the surface then looked at him again "You were hurting my friends, why?" She would keep him in hte water until he answered to her satisfaction. She might even call the mermaids to deal with him if she was so inclined.

Anna watched the two creatures and frowned a little then focused on trying to kill the men again. They would have to find another way of dealing with the creations once the humans were gone.

Jason grinned then looked to the creatures again, pausing and grabbing binoculars to see what movement had drawn his attention "Jackie's coming' He warned the others then grabbed his gun to shoot the human fighters again.

Jackie watched ahead as they approached the battle sight "Bertram, get me as close as you can without getting in danger yourself. I have to have a clear line of sight to freeze time around them"

When Don was transported, Chaos scented the air. He smelled a scent like electrical fire. He had smell a diluted smell on the shifters they'd been fighting. But this was not normal. He spread his wings and took to the air. He didn't like that odor. Leaving the humans to fend for themselves. His handler yelled out his command. " You say and fight!" At his words, the compulsory urge to flee left Chaos and he rejoined the fight. Releasing vapor and cough sparked it to ignite the trees. He looked around the surrounding area for those things with the strange smell.

Omen looked at the blue dragoness. "I know my fate. I wish I didn't. But I do. I know what becomes of me and it's a relief." He coughed up blood with sea water mixed in. It had entered through the many holes in his chest. His eyes slowly grew heavy and fluttered closed at last as he went completely limp.

The private that was watching the cell fell off his chair at the flash of light and the suddenness of the arrival of the captive. As he stood up and dusted himself off. He got a better look at the shifter. He got his cell phone out and called Markus.

Falkirk stared blankly at Star for a long moment, as her words were absorbed. He first blinked rapidly, as he realized he'd heard her right and deeply hoped that married ment the same thing on Earth, as intended did on Anstopfia. He smiled broadly. "You have just validated my whole existence, Star. I shall endeavor to prove myself worthy of you everyday for the rest of my life. I am so happy our courtship is now official." He explained breathlessly, as he slowly leaned forward and rested his forehead against her own. It was a ritualistic way of responding to the acceptance of a proposal."Thank you, Princess Star, for choosing me." He spoke from the heart.

Graydon grinned at Kyra and explained. "I watched Indians do this with buffalo hides. Always wanted to try it. Now I am." His grin widened substantially with humor.

Allen looked around and realized he was just about the last human standing. That's when he made a run for it.

Bertram had no fear. He was very strong and resilient. He charged in so Jackie could do her thing. He flashed his razor sharp teeth before he bowed low with his mane spread out and his head almost touching the ground. All so Jackie could get off with relative ease.

Phury was attempting to amputate the tail to get free.

Degan landed on Phury's back and racked him with claws. He had to help his friends
