Sonya was in her room, resting a little since to her it was night. She woke at the knock and got up to see she was at her door.

Don't raised an eyebrow at that then growled softly. "I would rather be here and have her free." He said quietly. He stood and set the water to the side then went to the bars of the cage. "What exactly are you after anyway?"

Star backed away then looked over to the other female. She glanced to the male then went to go to the girl. "Are you alright?" She asked softly. She wanted to help this girl get away of she could.

Kyra chuckled "Or it might come back to you again. " She teased lightly.

Jackie looked down at her hands, almost unbalanced by the wings she now had "Sergio? What happened? How did I shift?" She asked then carefully made her way to Bertram, pushing away her fear to heal him before it was too late, if it wasn't already.

"She shifted into a gargoyle, like Sergio" Jason said and glanced to him and Anna then back to the group before looking for the helicopter. "They don't have much time left,"

"The tone of the file suggested biological weapons." Navar explained further.

Pyro stopped instantly as he was the flash of light out of the corner of his eye. He looked over in time to see the second flash.

Aeval frowned, "Then where do we go?" She asked quietly.

Dawn frowned. "I'm not sure how I feel about this. All of this. I want to go home, but my flock is here and it would be shameful to leave."

Zia followed his gaze. "What maddess is this?" She whispered. Everything was happening to quickly for her to grasp.

"I am unsure. I do not know humans and their ways like I once did." Dust said. "Let's return home and decide then."

Spyro looked down timidly as Sonya answered the door. "Sonya, I'm so sorry to disturb you. But something terrible has happened. Princess Star has been taken by Vatgkan. Queen Avalon requires your presence. " He then explained what had happened on yhe way.

Markus stood and walked closer to Don's cell. He sat on the arm of the couch halfway between them. Instead of answering his question, he countered with a question of his own. "What do you think I want? I'd be interested in your speculations. "

Lucille looked up at Star and sobbed softly. "I just want to go home. I'm so sorry Princess. I never thought he'd succeed." She said through her sobs.

Vatgkan spoke in hushed tones to the king. He looked over to the females periodically.

Graydon chuckled happily and stated, "Then I shall captured it and tame for our pet."

Sergio gave Phury a hard look before she followed Jackie over to Bertram. "I, I don't know. But it's all my fault, I believe. You are after all a gargoyle. So how could it not be. I'm so sorry Jackie. I never knew this would happen. I'll understand if you are mad at me." She said desperately.

Bertram slowly opened his eyes at their voices. He looked up at them. He smiled softly and said, "You are beautiful Jackie. That form becomes you."

Zypher grinned widely. "What if she could freeze it in the air and we blow it out of the sky?" He inquired curiously.

Dawn frowned. "I'm not sure how I feel about this. All of this. I want to go home, but my flock is here and it would be shameful to leave."

Degan saw the situation was defused, so he flew back to Zia and Pyro. "That was unexpected. " He said as he landed and shifted.

Navar wasn't sure how to respond to that. He looked at his hands in thought.

Degan saw the situation was defused, so he flew back to Zia and Pyro. "That was unexpected. " He said as he landed and shifted.

Zia threw her arms around his neck. "Don't scare me like that. I only have two friends and I would like to keep them alive as long as possible, thank you very much."

Dust said nothing in reply as he headed to the border of the town. Once in the forest he would shift freely. This human form felt weak and he despised that feeling.

Dawn straightened up and took a deep breath. "I suppose it is time for me to grow up and face what is. What is, is this. My flock is in a strange world, so I must stay with them. My past will haunt me but no more than a dream and I have a future that is still undecided. For now, I guess I have to be content with that."

When the city was behind them, Dust shifted and stretched. It felt nice to be normal again.

Don sighed then shrugged "From what I have heard, you want to make humans able to shift, thinking that you can create warriors from such creatures. Now, what are you really after?"

"If you know a spell to get out of here, then go, now, don't worry about me" Star said and reached over to touch her arm "Spyro and Ender will need to know where I am, get to them if you can" She urged her. She didn't want to show too soon that she had learned a few magic spells, that could end her chances of escape.

Kyra chuckled again and swam a little closer "Now that would be interesting to have a pet water monster" She said teasingly

Jackie dipped her head, smiling at the compliment then focusing on healing him so he would be alright again "Maybe so, but how do I go back to being me?" She asked then glanced to Sergio "Not that this wouldn't be interesting to explore, I've never had wings before"

"I don't even know if she could fly if this is her first shift. It takes a little time to get used to such things" Jason said then shrugged "That and time spells are costly, from what I know"

When the city was behind them, Dust shifted and stretched. It felt nice to be normal again. 

Navar flushed, embarrassed. He was trying to comfort and crossed a touch barrier. "Sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. It's just wild dogs tend to be touchy feely. I need to remember that not everyone appreciates that." He said with a nervous chuckle. He stood up and dusted himself off. "I think I'll skip the library for tonight. I'm thinking I'll go hunt my mate and talk her into get something to eat, instead. " He explained while rubbing his growling stomach. "Down boy!" He said with humor.

Degan grinned impishly. "So was I!" He teased further. He then looked around at the mouth of the ridge cave. "Wow, our cave is much better then this. " He whispered.

Pyro continued to watch for the helicopter. He did not want to go back to Menagerie,

Aeval did the same. She walked with Dust silently. She had learned a lot on this little expedition.

Avalon had moved to her gazing pool trying to get a glimpse of Star somewhere out there. But so far nothing. Ender stood slightly on the other side of the large pool. At the arrival of Sonya, she let out a worried breath. "I don't know what to do. I can't call her image." She explained worriedly.

Ender glanced up to look to Sonya with guilt filled eyes. His selfishness had lead to this. He never should have left the room. But he dared to hope Sonya had a plan.

"Your Intel is old, Don. I have come to realize that, that idea was greatly flawed. Just as I've came to appreciate the true uniqueness and possibilities of the vast variety of shifter breeds. As well as the Mythical's magic. Like the lowly ant is a hundred times stronger, so are shifters. The problem is getting the right mix of all strength and no weakness." Markus admitted willingly.

Lucille shook her head vigorously, "He has the whole place warded. I have already tried. He however can come and go, but not me as I suspect you too. Just like it." She whispered, as she looked over at the fish like creature. Whom was silently watching them both from the safety of it's pool.

"Yes I think I shall call him.......Loch Ness." Graydon thought aloud. He then flashed a smile at Kyra. " Nessie for short." He said in a hushed voice, as he pretended to look for said water monster.

Sergio laughed and said, "You simply envision your other self. You focus on your human form and your desire to be in it. At least that's how I do it."

Bertram looked up at Jackie and Sergio as the talked. "That is also the way I do it. Try it now and see what happens. " He whispered softly. His breath still labored.

Wrath spoke to Phury quietly. Explaining whst Jackie has told him.
