Star smiled again then moved to kiss his kips. She loved that they were having similar thoughts so often, yet different ones at times to.

Kyra frowned in thought at that. "That forest's battles have been being fought longer and are still being fought even now. It isn't over yet there." She informed sadly. "The forest itself is gone, but the creatures of it still fight,." they are just mostly shifters and not normal animals."

Ember glanced over to the phone, glad that another had answered, since she was busy.


"Orson? It's Anna is Jackie there? We need her help with a fey minion spell" Anna said, recognizing his voice. She smiled at his formal answer, at least it cheered her a little

"No, it doesn't offend me" Skylar said and smiled, then looked around the room "I can tell you who is who, mostly" She said then started to name the various wolves she knew there and the others that came in or poked a head in then went back outside to wait. 


Shane smiled and nodded "Alright, then a numbing it is." He said and got the needle to numb the area for the small surgery. Not that it was hard to get the little pill shaped tracker out or to close the tiny cut, he just didn't like causing unnecessary pain. 

Elle giggled and returned his funny face with one of her own cheerfully.She was glad to play a little in the tense atmosphere.

Falkirk sighed softly as Star's lips met his own. He twirled softly at the intimacy. Star's lips were like rose petals. They were velvet soft and tasted sweet as nectar. He relly wanted to spend eternity just like this. But he slowly came up for air. "That was exactly what I wished for. You are truly wondrous, princess. " He replied slightly breathless.

"Oh, but of course they fought. I should have known better. I'm glad they are holding the humans accountable for what they've done. " Graydon said passionately.

Cadeon went back to his pot to stir it once again.

Orson smiled at Anna's voice. "Anna! It's good to hear your voice. But unfortunately, our Jackie is depleted from her last war efforts. I however, am ready and fresh. A minion spell is right up my alley, since I'm a fey. So would you settle for little old me?" He teased mildly.

Jaxon looked to each wolf and committed them to memory. He made sure he listened to Skylar's every word.

Pyro was quite amazed at the lack of pain. He watched Shane as he worked. The wolf was quite skilled at his profession. "Thank you. It is a relief to finally get that thing out." He said with gratitude.

Omen laughed softly, as to not draw to much attention. His play with Elle, helped to ground him. Which he was needing the respite from what he'd just saw.

"I wanted that too." Star said and smiled at him happily. "You are wonderous to me." She added then kissed him gently again. She didn't want this time to end.

Kyra smiled again and nodded then frowned a little. The forest had fought back but they had lost their home in the process even though they had better numbers and better fighters. What could the two of them do to keep their forest safe?

Ana frowned at the begining then smiled when he was finished. "That would be perfect, Orson." She said "Do you juast want the address or would you want someone to pick you up?" She asked curiously. "They are having a pack meeting, so there will be many people there." She inforned then sighed "There is another thing, i am not sure if any of us can do anything about it. Marcus has given the new creations an ailment that they have to get injections for or they will die."

Ember finished what she could do, having to leave it to cook. She moved back to get her tea while watching Cadeon again.

Skylar smiled, sitting back again after she had named the wolves here and with most of them their relationship. She fell quiet, watching the interactions and listening to them.

Shane smiled and finished bandaging the small cut. "You are welcome." He said then crushed the tracker so it couldn't be used again.

Aurora glanced to him at his chuckle. She smiled at his play with Elle then looked over to Pyro again, watxhing and listening to the group.

Orson thought and asked, "could one of the wolves out here drive me there. That way it wouldn't inconvenience anyone and you could just give me the address. I don't know how to drive. "

Cadeon was watching the orange sauce he'd made simmer. He had to stir it constantly or else it would burn. He looked over to Ember and raised an eyebrow playfully.

Bob stretched a little and opened his eyes sleepily. But soon snuggled aginst Ember's neck again.

Jaxon liked how Skylar always helped him stay calm. Her thorough descriptions of her pack, have took away all his anxiety. He smiled gently at her in gratitude for her help.

Pyro turned to glance to Aurora again, before heading back to Degan. He wondered now about her story. He'd never really seen a water dragon before. He'd only heard others speak of their abilities.

Degan was speaking with Keira. She was very resolute in her endeavors to help Jason in anyway possible.

"I feel the same" Star said and smiled at him again "I never want to be without you." It would kill a part of her if she ever lost him now that she had found him.

Kyra gave Gaydon another kiss then turned to go and check on their tree to make sure nothing had been done to it by those humans "We should think of making a bolthole or two so we would have a place to go if we are ever run out of the tree again. We were not prepared for an attack." She said with worry

Anna nodded though he couldn't see her "Yes, Eric should still be out there. He can drive you, I'll give him a call" She said then gave him the address of the meeting just in case he needed it.

Ember chuckled and brought a hand up to Bob when he moved, making sure he was alright. "It's almost done, just has to cook a bit now"

Skylar smiled at him then looked to the meeting again. Soon only the generals and the new people were left in the house, with the rest of the pack outside, except for the ones that had to stay at their posts. One way or another, every wolf had checked in with the meeting and been informed of Marcus having their numbers and the passphrase to use. Now they were waiting on Orson to come to see if he could help with the minion spell and the sickness. The human captured from the battle at the ridge was on his way also, after being checked for trackers and any serum he might have.

"I feel the same" Star said and smiled at him again "I never want to be without you." It would kill a part of her if she ever lost him now that she had found him.

Kyra gave Gaydon another kiss then turned to go and check on their tree to make sure nothing had been done to it by those humans "We should think of making a bolthole or two so we would have a place to go if we are ever run out of the tree again. We were not prepared for an attack." She said with worry

He twirled softly at the emotion reflected back deep in their depths. He then smiled mischievously and kissed her quickly before standing. "How about taking a swim? There is a wondrous cave behind the waterfall. That’s where the moonstones come from." He explained.

Graydon grinned happily and said in agreement, "Yes, we will be prepared next time. They won't catch us off gaurd." He was filled with joy as they reached their home once again. He looked at it in a new light. "It's like we have repaid the tree for it's gift to us. It is very validating, in a way." He said with conviction.

Orson sat in the passenger seat, looking at the scenery. Eric didn't need the address, for he knew the location. So he focused on his part. The minion spell was simpleenough. But the other part was going to be tricky. A dormant virus was not something he'd ever had to handle.

Bob made a soft sound at her assurance. He puffed up his feathers as she gently scratched his head.

Cadeon poured Ember and himself some more ice tea. He sighed softly as he took a long sip. "This is the life. I don't think it gets better then this." He said as he set the glass down again and smiled over the table at Ember.

Jaxon was sstarting to feel a little hot. So he decided that maybe some air would help. "Um, I'm going to have to step out for a bit. I think the closed space is getting to me." He explained to Skylar as he looked to the door.

She said confidently then went to check on the racks of meat.

Eric came to get him with a truck, instead of the usual van. He smiled and tipped his hat to Orson before getting the door open for him then getting ready to drive off. "Anyone else coming?"

Ember smiled at Cadeon and took a sip of her tea. "No it doesn't" She agreed happily then frowned a little when she thought of Jackie and the war out there. "No, it can get better...when there is no war and we can go to my home. That will be better."

Skylar looked to him, worry shadowing her eyes a little as she stood up and nodded "We can go tot he backyard, it shouldn't be as crowded there" She said gently. She hoped it wasn't that virus she had heard Jason talking about.

Falkirk smiled softly at Star ans explained, "Qdoba didn't tell you? Our clothes can be changed with magic. It saves us from washing them. You chant this spell and think of what you want to wear. " He then gave her the spell.

Graydon stayed with Kyra as she went to check the jerky. He wasn't taking any changes. There could have been one that they missed. Not that she needed any help with her awesome powers. But he'd feel better about things if he watched her back.

Orson looked to the house and thought to Kristen. He didn't get a response, so she must still be asleep. "No, I guess it's just me." He said as he got in and shut the door. "Thanks for driving me. I'm not very good behind the wheel and to run in my Oilin form would draw unwanted attention." He added politely.

Cadeon flushed at his selfish statement. "I'm sorry, you are absolutely right. It's just in quite moments like this, it's easy to feel happy. I know the war is a nightmare, but you still have to dream about better times. That's what sustains you through it all." He whispered sadly. He then looked over at Ember and asked, "Your home? What's it like, where you are from?"

Jaxon hoped it wasn't the virus either. He reminded himself that there were a lot of bodies generating heat. So that was why he needed some cool air. "The backyard sounds great to me." He said pleasantly as he held out his hand. But then thought better of it. Was this virus contagious? If it was in fact the virus. He couldn't chance giving it to Skylar. He forced his hand into his pocket.

Elina slowly came awake. She smiled lovingly at Aaran as he still slept. He's tiger was so beautiful. She had never see a tiger that color before. She looked to her turquoise colored fur. She shifted to run her fingers through his soft coat. She closed her eyes in amazement. It was so warm and soft. She curled herself into his warmth and looked up at the dome he'd made to protect them.

Star smiled at him and thought about something she could wear in the water then chanted the new spell. She looked down at the clothing then up to him, curious as to what he thought

Kyra didn't mind him staying so close to her, she rather liked that he thought that much about her and she didn't want to be alone. "Looks like they didn't touch this" She said then glanced to him again "I'm glad, that would have been a lot of work wasted if they had"

Eric smiled at him and nodded then started the truck. Kristen was still asleep in the house, resting from her first shift and the fight. "We shouldn't be gone long" Eric said reassuringly then started to drive. "If things ever calm back down, we can set up a driver learning course for all you people who don't know how to drive but want to learn."

Ember reached over to touch his hand then squeeze it. "Having a happy moment is good, it helps to balance things, when this is over and we can live well is something I dream of." She said then thought about the home she had made "My home is in the mountains. Time has proven that the safest place. I have a stone room underground that I have used to hide my flame when I renew myself, many rooms to hold the things I have gathered or been given over the years." She paused then chuckled softly "It may seem strange for a bird to be happy living in a cave, but it is my home and I have made it comfortable. It is not easy to get into for those that don't know the way, but there is a path to it. Your lynx form should be able to get up there. I would like to show you someday"

Sky was concerned when he retracted his hand but got up to walk to the backyard with him, getting the door as she did. "If it is a virus and we have time, we can find out exactly what it is and how to fight it, if we had that serem he was talking about it would be faster."

He let the places in between thin until they could almost see outside, but it was still clouded while the spires were still thick ice with a hole directly at the top to let in air for them

Falkirk smiled at her choice of clothing. He hadn't seen that style before. "Is that an Earth outfit? It's very nice and looks perfect for the water. You look very beautiful in it Star." He then smiled and asked, "Ready?!"

Graydon looked to the racks carefully. He then scented the area just to be extra sure. He was satisfied when he didn't smell anything out of the ordinary. "Yes, that would have been inconvenient and aggravating. How's it looking? " He asked curiously.

Orson looked to him with interest. "That would be wonderful. I look forward to learning more about driving. It seems to be quite handy at times." He said honestly.

Cadeon smiled in speculation of what her home would look like. "It sounds amazing. It gives me something to look for to. " He said with happiness.

Jaxon frowned in thought. "Jason said the handlers carried the serem. I wonder if the searched Elena's. It would give us time and a recipe to make more. In fact they captured Phury's handler. I bet he still has it on him. It would make a good bargaining chip. " He thought out loud.

Elina gasped in delight. She glanced up at Aaran and said in pure wonderment. "You never cease to surprise me. In fact I still have your rose you made me. You do grand things with the simplest of gestures."

Falkirk smiled at her choice of clothing. He hadn't seen that style before. "Is that an Earth outfit? It's very nice and looks perfect for the water. You look very beautiful in it Star." He said with appreciation of her choice. Even though it made his heart rate rise a bit. He changed his clothing as well, into the equivalent of shorts and a tank top. He then smiled and asked, "Ready?!"

"I'm ready" Star said, blushing a little but turning to go tot he water. She had had to make up a suit, since she didn't even know what the Earth ones looked like beyond the few pictures she had seen on the computer at the menagerie when Ashton had been telling her the stories about mythical creatures.

"It looks good, shouldn't be too much longer before we can take it in to store it." Kyra said and glanced to him "We will need to work on the baskets for that though"

"It is, and if you follow the rules, you don't get stopped by the police. They will put you in jail if you don't have a licence and try to drive." Not that the wolves wouldn't give him a licence if he passed their driving test, which included a bit of stunt driving for the advanced students.

Ember nodded and smiled at him again then got up to get the food to finish it and set it out for them to eat together."I can't wait to show you."

"They should be questioning him or bringing him here, I'm not sure which they will do" Sky said and watched him "You feel better out here?" She had to ask. She didn't like when he was too hot in there.

Aaron flushed as he shifted and looked to her. "I'm glad I can make you happy, seeing you smile is what makes me want to do things like this."
