Star nodded, listening to him explain the stone's values to her. She was as always, fascinated by this realm and all it held in it.

Kyra chuckled and looked to him again "Your welcome, and it holds special memories now, so I hope we can use it for a very long time."

Aurora sighed softly, glad that had been taken care of, though the sickness still bothered her. She hoped it was as easy to dispell.

Jason looked over to the human and nodded "Alright, let's see what he knows about this sickness." He said and moved to go to the man "Hello Aden" He greeted. "We have heard that Marcus has made the shifters with a sickness inside them, do you have the cure?" He asked, though he knew the man would have been searched long before.

Skylar shook her head "If we are needed, we will be called." She said. She both did and did not want to go in there, so she stayed with him outside the house.

"Oh, now that is convenient, but what if you need me to come to you?" Aaron asked curiously, looking at the ring then to her and smiling "Is there a way to make a ring to call me, but for you to use?" He asked, wanting to give her the same ability as she gifted to him.

Don settled on the bed again, frowning at the human. Well, frowning was a light word, it was more of a glare as he tried to figure out a way to kill the human and get out of there on his own. He knew Anna wouldn't be safe so long as this man lived. Anna and Jason

Anna shrugged "Wait for it to come out and ambush it?" She asked, wondering if he had another way to do that.

Falkirk liked how similar their interests were. Others he'd feel like he was boring, but not Star. She was always an eager student. He turned as he heard movement, only to see Spyro entering the cave. He'd entered with more flare, for he'd flown through the waterfall into the cave.

Graydon grinned and became fidgety. He didn't know what to say to Kyra's kind words. So he said the first thing that popped into his mind, "I hope it does serves us well." Then realizing what a stupid thing to say, he flushed with embarrassment.

"You know you took everything from me. So why ask stupid questions. Ask the one who emptied out my pockets. It would be tragic indeed if the serum was thrown out as unimportant. As far as the virus, it should be alive and well within those turncoats." He said with venom in his voice, as he glared at Omen.

Omen stayed by Jason's side and listened quietly.

Orson glanced over curiously at Omen and looked to Aden again.

"To do so, we need something that means a lot to you to forge a bound with it. Then we can attach a summoning spell on it. But you shouldn't do this lightly. It very strong magic. " Elina cautioned Aaran.

Markus noticed Don's fuming glare. Good, he'd broken through his calm uncaring veneer. He looked to the knock on the door. "Come in! " He called out.

Arkkien came in and looked around nervously. "Ummm, Sir, I was flying a drone and running point on a recon mission. We found some fantastic fox creature, but that unit that went to capture it has not reported back. They are MIA." He replied.

Markus frowned and focused on him and asked, Did you follow the the coordinates back to where you found it? To either check on them or to see what happened?"

Arkkien shook his head, then remembered not to do that. "No, sir. That's not possible. Because for some reason it was impossible to get coordinates at the time. The electronics weren't working as they should. I believe it was because of whatever that creature was. It had multiple tails to it. I could have been been generating an electromagnetic field." He explained.

Markus nodded slowly as he thought it over. "Track their vehicle. The low jack may work to our favor. It will give you an area to search." He finally said.

"Yes, sir! I'll tell Gibbs you said to do that." Arkkien said as he turned to leave.

Markus was still thinking about what creature I that could have been.

Zypher grinned and nodded. "Something like that. Now Jason explained the layout of Menagerie. If we keep their supplies from getting there. By hijacking them and disposing of them. We would make Menagerie open up and come out to us in desperation. It won't be overnight. But a facility that large goes through supplies rapidly." He said with enthusiasm.

Star glanced back at Spyro and smiled at him. She had almost forgotten he was there again, he was always so quiet and behind the scenes.

"It will" Kyra replied happily. She didn't mind the occasional odd things he said, since she understood the meaning behind them. Though some things she wouldn't understand simply from the difference in culture.

Jason frowned then shook his head a little "I had hoped you would be more cooperative." He said then looked tot he man's holders
"We sent it to the labs to see what it is made of. We sent the message to try to make more on the way over here" The wolf informed then glanced to the human "We disabled his tracker already"

Aurora stood and walked over to them "If I may? I know a spell that will make him answer truthfully, any question that you ask, despite his reluctance to help."

Aaron frowned a little at her warning and glanced to the ring she had given him "I don't have anything that means anything to me except you" He said then looked to her again. "But I want you to be able to call on me whenever you want to."

Don blinked, calming himself during the conversation, though when he mentioned the many-tailed creature his eyes widened, He knew the trickster they were talking about, not that he would give her away, despite the pranks she had played on the pack. He turned away and smiled, knowing those humans were likely dead from the electric creature.

Anna nodded at the plan but wasn't so sure of it "But if supplies start to run out, he would use the normal shifters to feed the creations, wouldn't he?" She asked, thinking about some of what the other freed ones had said at the picnic. That was the only flaw she saw in that plan.

Falkirk gently removed the stone from the wall with a small tool and handed it to Star. "For the princess. " He said with happiness.

Graydon grinned and set it on the table. "So what do we need to look for in a bolthole? I've never seen one before. He asked curiously.

Aden sneered at Aurora. "What makes you think it will work on me. I doubt you shifters know any magic. " He retorted.

Orson just smiled at the stupid human. Because Aurora's magic was ancient and very strong. He deeply respected the dragoness.

Pyro attention was focused upon Aurora. He wanted to see her in action. He admired her quite facade. He could tell she was always under strict self control.

Jaxon settled down on the ground and leaned his back aginst the wall. "I'm glad you don't want to go back into the house yet. I'm enjoying the fresh air too much. " He replied honestly.

Elina smiled devilishly and said, "BBut I do have something you gave me with love. My ice flower. I put a stasis spell on it so it will last forever and never melt. we could use that for I carry it with me always." She explained as she dug into her pouch and pull it out.

Markus had noticed Don's earlier attention in their conversation. He ask him, "What do they call that creature? A fox with many tails."

Zypher smiled faded. "I didn't think of that. But you are definitely right. He doesn't care about sacrificing a few for the many. He does it often enough. Good catch Anna. We'll have to find another way then." He admitted freely.

Star smiled and accepted the moonstone from him "Thank you" She said happily. She loved how thoughtful he always seemed to be with her.

"A bolthole would be a cave or den we could hide in and hold food and water storage in. It's just someplace to bolt to when danger is too close to reach home." Kyra replied then smiled "And so long as the outside remains hidden, then we can do whatever we want to the inside."

"You don't know many dragons then" Aurora said casually then reached over to touch his temple, whispering the spell after Jason had given his nod. After a moment, she stepped back and let her hand drop "Ask your questions, he will answer true" She said then turned to retake her seat on the couch with her girls.

"What do you know about that serum?" Jason asked Aden.

"Fresh air is good for you" Sky said and took a seat nearby, looking around then up at the sky. She smiled then glanced to him again. "More so for you since you were denied so much"

Aaron smiled at that, reaching over to touch the flower "Yes, there is that, and it's something that I have a bond to since I made it with love for you" He said then flushed and looked to her again

"Don't you know your myths?" Don asked and glanced to him "Even humans know that one" He said, not really answering the question. He looked away again, wondering how she had survived since her forest was gone now.

Anna came over to his side and placed a hand on his shoulder, knowing he was trying to help "He has too many hostages still, and is not willing to negotiate their freedom for anything we would give up"

Falkirk bowed his head to Star and said, "You are welcome."

"Oh, that sounds totally awesome! Another adventure!" Graydon said enthusiastically.

Aden tried not to say anything, but he answered uncontrollably, " It's required for the Gen-two to live. The dormant virus is awakened by it's absence and causes a rabies like result. Destroying brain tissues and becoming a carrier to infect others. That’s why we are required to carry a single dose. Because once the virus becomes active. Once that happens, serum becomes useless. "

Orson made a soft sound as he looked to Jason.

Omen stayed close and listened quietly.

Jaxon smiled affectionately at Skylar. "I believe you are right. I do feel it's absence more, now that I have felt it." He replied softly.

Markus sent Don an impatient glare. He then fired up his computer and logged in. He was ran a search to try and figure out what they were dealing with.

Zypher covered her hand with his own and squeezed gently. "I know. But what I would give to get my hands on Markus. " He said with frustration.

"How long before an injection is necessary? "Jason asked next, frowning at the revelation. He didn't like that it both injured the brain and was transferable to the other shifters. "God, an infected one could kill humans also, with their brains messed up they would attack anyone. Doesn't he even care about other humans?"

Skylar smiled at him then sighed softly. " Well now it it yours to enjoy for as long as you want." She said with hope that the wolves could recreate the serum.

"I know not the time or dsy. I've been detained, remember? " Aden retorted bitterly. "As far as them hurting humans. Markus knows the wolves are the guardians of the forest. He was counting on you taking them under your protection, if they proved disloyal. They are to be your problem, not the humans." He looked to Omen as he spoke.

Omen shook his head and said, "We have just over twenty-fourhours before the point of no return. "

Pyro went to sit by Degan once again. He preferred to be a voyeur, not in the fore front.

Jaxon refused to think of the likelihood of that not being true. His life had an expiration date on it. "Yes, I look forward to spending more time outside. " He said quietly.

(What happened to Cadeon and Ember? He'd gone to see if Jackie or Kristen were awake. )

Markus looked up at his revolution. "A Kitsune. How facilitating a creature is that. Oh the things I could mix that one with. " He said speculating the possibilities.

"In due time. We will prevail. Good always wins over evil." Zypher growled equally angry.

Ericsson awoke feeling a whole lot better. His daily exercises were helping him get his mobility and endurance back. He looked down at the almost healed gunshot scar.

"Then he does not know of our city lives yet." Jason said with a smirk then sighed. "They will let me know when they have replicated the serum.It is on the fast track with our best scientists working on it already. " he assured Omen

Skylar reached over and lay her hand over his in sympathy. She had sensed the dip in his emotions at the thought of death. " They will do everything they can to cure you."

(Jackie is still sleeping for now) Kristen woke when Cadeon came in to see if she was awake. She looked around for Orson, calling for him in her mind.

Don sighed and shook his head. " You really shouldn't mess with one of them."He warned

Anna nodded but thought about how good might win in the end, but they usually lost people along the way.

Rosie came over to the door to check on him again. Sshe smiled when she saw he was awake again. " You are getting stronger already. "

Aden laughed openly at Jason's boast. "I wouldn't count on that. It is impossible to copy. It has been engaged to self-destruct as soon as air hits it. You wasted the only serum you had. You might as well put a bullet in their hearts or heads now." He enjoyed telling Jason about his failure.

Omen leaned over to whisper with a sinister voice to Aden. "I see you die a slow and agonizing death. One that no one takes pity on you to end it any earlier. That's what you have to look forward to. I hope you enjoy the anticipation of such an agony laden death."

"I know they will. I just hope they have enough time. I don't want to become a danger to any of you. That I fear the most." Jaxon explained with conviction.

"Ummm, I'm afraid he's been called away on urgent business. Rest assured, it's nothing too dangerous. Just a minion spell. We have dinner cooked, if you are interested. It a wonderful roasted duck with orange sauce, with roasted vegetables. Very delectable if you asked me." He said with a french accent.

"Oh, is that right? Well I'll take that under consideration. But most likely, I'll capture one. One way or another. " Markus stated simply.

Zypher saw the shadows cross Anna's face. He silently vowed to himself to save as many of her own as he could. They had lost too many at Menagerie as it was. He had no false promises, so he held his tongue. He instead drew her into a tight embrace. To demonstrate his comfort and unwavering devotion to this strong and determined wolf.

Ericsson grinned as he turned towards the doorway. "Yes, soon I'll be able to assist with this war. I had a dream last night. I refuse to run from that tyrant. He must be stopped. Too many lives are on the line. I have finally found something and someone worth fighting for." He said with determination to Rosie.

Star smiled and twirled back to him. That had to be her new favorite sound, his twirling to her.

"Well, the exit from the river is that way, so...this way" Kyra replied and pointed one way, heading to see what they could find.

"If that happens, then we will simply have to ask a friend for a cureall." Jason stated and turned away. "Get him out of here, full precautions. " He told the wolf guard then looked at Omen then to Orson,"Orson, I need your help, can you take Omen and Jaxon to Jackie's? Ember can help cure both of them with her tears."

Aurora stood and went over to Aden, reaching to touch his temple again. "You will forget that you told us anything of value today and you will forget everything Jason has said ." She then nodded to the wolves who were to take him away before looking at Jason "Just in case." She said nonchalantly then returned to her seat. She was protecting her girls like this.

Skylar nodded then smiled a little. "We do have better resources than any human, we have mythicals on our side."

Kristen smiled at his playful accent and got up. "I am hungry, and that does sound good. " She said , though part of her felt missing with Orson gone so far away.

"Unlikely " Don said then chuckled. "I would like to see you try, or rather your face when you fail time after time. "

Anna didn't feel all that strong at the moment, leaning into his embrace and drawing comfort from him. She didn't feel strong, but she did feel angry, stubborn and vindictive. They would find a way, even if it took all they had.

Rosie went to his bedside and touched his arm as if trying to stop him from rising "Just don't push yourself too hard. I do not want to have ro nurse you back to health again
