Kyra nodded and looked around then frowned a little. "It is odd, I wonder if this forest was missing a kitsune so much that it is accommodating what we need when we ask in the tree." She said thoughtfully. It was possible for the wild magic to do that, though it hadn't been seen in ages

Skylar touched Jaxons arm and stood up "I am Skylar, I am to stay with Jaxon until he wishes me to leave." She said and dipped her head "We were just talking about who could possibly help." She glanced to Chaos when the wolves led him over to them then looked back to Orson, She had seen him leave the house, so she would trust him at least for now. " how are we to travel?"

Ember blushed a bit and looked to Cadeon "Thank you, you cook well yourself" She said, motioning to the sides and sauce he had made for the meal. She liked mothering Bob and found she was good at it too. Her gaze flicked to Garth and she smiled again "Bob is a baby phoenix.

Don tried to listen in for a while, but the quiet soon had him dozing lightly again.

Anna laughed at that, shaking her head, the imiage of the spotted skunk with lines connecting his spots was funny and the laughter was a stress buster for her. " That won't be needed we have dyes that are safe to use on fur."

"You will have to wait and see the surprise" Rosie said and giggled. She watched him then tirned to go and grab the basket, already packed and waiting for them

"I agree, this is the only world that means anything to me. But I would leave it without a single backwards glance to follow you, my Star." Falkirk said softly to her.

Graydon froze mid-motion and gave that a good thinking. He then nodded and stated thoughtfully, "That would make total sense. It seems we have been granted our hearts desire so far. It would seem this forest has embraced you with open arms. It is a very wondrous thing to witness."

Orson looked to Skylar and returned a greeting. Then glanced to the large male the wolves brought over. "Well Skylar, we are taking the fey mode of travel. A portal that will take us to an allies house. There a mythical will help your friend and Chaos here get free of that hidden threat." He explained simply. He then walked over to the far side of the yard and opened a portal. He looked inside tentatively, half expecting king Racine to be there or his gaurds. He smiled happily when there was nothing but a vast whiteness beyond. "Shall we? " He asked curiously.

Chaos was to curious about the female wolf beside Jaxon. He was glad his lab mate was fine with his wolf handler. Skylar seemed to know how to take control of things. He was surprised that Wrath had accepted the change in handlers, he was so attached to Elena. What had they done to Elena? Where were they taking his handler? He glanced in the direction they had taken him. All these questions flowed through his mind. But he remained himself that he was made not to think for himself, but to follow orders only. So with his lack of guidance, he looked to Wrath as an example of what was expected of him.

Cadeon smiled pleasantly and held up his fork, "Thank you, as well. We do make a great team. " He replied honestly.

Anna chuckled again, shaking her head at that look in his eyes. "Plenty of fun in trying to paint his fur anyway. We should find him."

Chaos went to the portal with Skylar and Jaxon. He glanced back at the wolves as he went through.

Orson waited until they were all through before closing the portal door.

Cadeon chuckled and returned to eating. For Bob had taken to playing with a napkin. He was rolling over and covering himself with it. Then gigging happily. (I had a sun conure that loved to do that. )

Zypher grinned widely and nodded. "I saw Luce in the other room , she should know where her brother is." He said as he kissed her forehead and headed for the door.

Luce sat and talked with Aurelius on the couch in the living room.

Rosie led him out to the woods and to a clearing out there. It wasn't very far from the cabin, but it might as well have been on another world.

Falkirk looked around as the light seemed to flow throughout the cavern. "Now this is a wondrous surprise." He said with appreciation.

Orson looked around in thought. "Well, I've never really thought about it, really. But I guess it's a form of in between. A neither here or there. It makes travel fast and convenient." He explained as he started leading the way.

Jaxon walked with Skylar, still holding her hand. She hadn't expressed a desire to have him release her. So he took the small liberty. He listened to Orson and continued to look around. He noticed Chaos on his right.

Garth helped Bertram gather the dishes so they could wash them. He'd stated the cooks don't clean. So he was eager to help out where he could.

When Bob was finished eating, Cadeon reached across the table and gently tugged on Bob's tail to play with the little guy. The baby giggled merrily as he turned around to nibble on Cadeon's hand. "So what do Phoenix do for fun? I mean full grown Phoenix. I see what he considers entertainment. " He asked Ember with humor.

Luce looked up and pointed down the hallway. "Taylor and him came back and headed down to the guestroom to put her things away." She explained simply.

"Thanks." He said and headed in that direction.

Ericsson took a deep breath and exhaled. "There is nothing better then fresh air. This is a great spot you have chosen. It looks as if we have driven a long distance to get to this secluded spot." He replied honestly.

"It is very pretty." Star said as she looked around. She glanced to him again and smiled then headed a bit deeper in to see what else the cavern would show them.

Skylar nodded and followed, holding Jaxons hand without thinking about it. "It's so white here, sterile. " She said thoughtfully then looked to Orson again. "Not a place to stay for too long. How close to the house can we get? I heard that there was some trouble out that way."

"That depends on the Phoenix and what they personally like and what is available for entertainment. " Ember said, watching the two play together.

Anna smiled at the two females and waved before following Zypher again. She hoped the two were just sleeping, and that they wouldn't disturb them too much.

"Middle of nowhere, yet in walking distance. " Rosie said with a giggle. That was how she described this spot at least to herself.

Falkirk nodded as in agreement. They were back pretty far and there was a glow up ahead. "That chamber holds the illuminating stones for lighting the ceilings of the castle." He explained as he pointed to the distant glow. "It seems all the magical stones come from under this waterfall." He whispered softly.

Graydon blushed slightly at that. "Thank you, that means so much to me. That you feel the same way about me." He admitted, before he had another thought, "How will we know what the forest wants us to do? Does it actually communicate physically or is it more nonverbal? " He asked curiously.

"Yes, not a place to linger. As far as the trouble, there was a run in with a exiled king, who also has use of this in between realm. But since the blood moon has passed, I don't suspect there will be anymore problems with him." Orson said. They walked a bit further and then he chanted the portal spell. The portal opened to just off from the forest of Jackie's house. "Not to far from her house. For Jackie had made a small adjustment in her protection spell to allow for the fey portal to work here." He explained as he stepped through.

Cadeon nodded in speculation. Then asked, "What are your hobbies and passions. What do you do for shear fun?" He looked over to her with unwavering interest and intrigue. He knew she had infinite lifetimes, but he wanted to know this one to the smallest details.

Zypher rounded the corner and run right into Nashton. Once he stopped the smaller male from falling. "Hey, just who I was looking for. You got a minute to talk? " He asked politely.

Nashton looked up at Zypher wide-eyed and nodded vigorously. "Yeah, sure. But for the record, I didn't do it." He replied teasingly. The smiled as he looked between Anna and Zypher.

"Nonverbal, but I know how to read the signs most of the time, and a lot of it is feelings. Though if you ask at the tree, you may be able to make something similar to a scrying pool so the forest can show what is needed there, since you do not know the signs as well."

Rosie nodded and smiled at him as they got the picnic set up. "You saif that the other day, I have been waiting for you to get well enough to come out here."

Zypher rolled his eyes and clapped him on the shoulder and guided him to the office to speak with him. "Is that right? We'll just have to torture it out of you." He finally said with humor.
