Ender shook his head and replied mentally. "But the very nature of a minion spell is it takes all free will away. hence the term minion. Good thing you freed him. Vatgkan could have sent him after Falkirk or the queen." Ender glanced to Sorcha and Avalon across the way, before looking to Star.

Falkirk could tell Star and Ender were speaking privately. So he walked over to speak with Lucille.

Avalon explained all that had happened with Jackdaw, to Sorcha. She then broached the subject she needed help on. "I promised him a trial. But the evidence is destroyed. But deep within his mind is his proof. If things happened like he's said. Then I'll summon Racine for his testimony. But I must be absolutely certain, because the treaty is still fragile. So I'm asking if you can mind meld with Jackdaw. I've chosen you, because I need a mediary. One that is beyond reproach. My anger and hatred for fey wolves, makes me..." Avalon looked away to compose herself.

Sergio grinned and took Jackie's hand. She giggled as she blushed. "Yeah, it'll be different, but also fun. I don't know, we can start whenever you feel up to it." She said softly.

"Well flattery will not buy you favoritism in the lest. I hope you've been study your spell book I made you, young lady." Orson said teasingly as he twirled softly. "Because the Oilin part is going to be a lot of fun."

Cadeon looked to where Rana had flown. "Good friends like that are rare in one lifetime. Let alone as many as you have see." He said reflectively. Cadeon returned his gaze back to Ember and marveled at her astounding beauty. "You are that friend to me and more. I love you Ember. An eternal spark in this darkness of life, your light is my way home." He said poetically, as he tipped her chin up to kiss her passionatly. He said between kisses, "Can you tell I missed you?"

Aeval glanced around and straightened a bit, "No, it's fine. We must get accustomed to others. But we thank you for making the offer. You have very sweet daughters. You must be proud of them." She said happily.

Jaxon smiled affectionately down at Skylar, but decided to find Bob first. He looked on shelves under tables and behind books. But then he saw his feathers (Is he red or another color?) behind the wood pile. He hunched over and whispered to him, "I got you little man. Now can you help me find Skylar? I can't seem to find her."

Bob giggled merrily and hobbled out from behind the wood. "You did get me. Humm, me think it's aginst rules, but ok!" He said with humor. He then started running across the floor, looking. He rounded the couch and stopped at the sight of Skylar. "She right HERE! Quick, get her!" Bob called out.

Jaxon said, "Are you sure. I could of swore I checked back there." He tried to hide his smile, as Bob looked back at him.

"Me looking right at her, Jaxon." Bob giggled softly.

Sahara didn't answer, she just lunged for Anna's front foot. No way was she groveling for her death. The small adrenaline rush, gave her the strength to move.

The sisters knew Sahara was beyond the point of no return. They looked away from Sahara and down in submission to Anna.

Zypher stepped forward, but stopped by the counter. He didn't want to get in the way.

Star blushed and looked away "He was told to capture me and take me away from the protection of the castle. Dawn is the one that asked for my help in freeing him. She loves him though I don't think she realizes that yet."

Sorcha dipped her head to think about it a moment then nodded "I can meld with him and find out the truth. I always flt there was something off about that day, but I never could figure out exactly what." She said then shook her head and sighed "We should invite Racine anyway, this trial will affect how he sees that day also. I can broadcast what I find to both of you so you can know." She said then reached over to take her hand "But if you do invite him, take precautions. Hating one for so long does not simply go away because of a treaty. There are bound to be some altercations if he comes and especially if he brings any of his men."

Kyra laughed again as she ran around the treehouse. She didn't remember ever having this much fun with anyone else before. It wasn't long before she had gotten herself trapped in a corner though. She had been laughing too much to pay that much attention.

Jackie nodded and glanced to the other room "We can start now, before anything else happens to distract us." She said then removed her spell from the door and the scrying bowl since Ember was home now. "IF we stay within my borders, we should be safe."

Kristen twirled back to him and smiled. "I have, reading it helped to make it feel like you were close even though you were closed off to me while you were away" She said, glad he was here and safe with her. "I guess I should learn to control that form more while we are safe too. Four legged walking is very different from two legs"

Aurora nodded and glanced after the girls "Yes, I am proud of both of them." She said then looked back to Aveal again "How much of the book have you read?" She asked to get them started off.

Rosie chuckled softly and kissed his forehead then got up to get them drinks from the kitchen. "I will return soon" She said happily then glanced over to Jason and the other wolves as they planned their next attack on her way to the kitchen.

Skylar smiled at Bob, shifting to hold out a hand to the little phoenix as she stood to look at Jaxon. "Yep, he found me." She said then looked to Bob to tickle his feathers a little bit "And don't worry, it's not against the rules I grew up with to help the seeker" She added so he wouldn't feel bad about it.

Her attention quickly shifted back tot he hyena in front of her as she jumped to the side but only enough to not get bitten. She turned to end this fight, grabbing Sahara by the back of her neck and shaking her. The hyena had chosen quick, so Anna obliged her.When it was over she walked over to the sisters and looked at one then the other "You will either play by my rules here or you will leave this territory. Everyone in your pack will have this choice, but you only have until this nightfall to decide. We have more important things to worry about than if we have traitors in our territory" She said then looked to Zypher, almost afraid of what she might see in his eyes.She didn't want to lose him because of this form, but she couldn't let the hyena group win, they still had to find and rescue her father.She had to close her eyes and concentrate to return to her human form, yet even when she did, she didn't feel entirely normal. She couldn't see it, but the fey wolf form ad marked her, leaving a tattoo like ring around her neck and over her collarbone that looked like runic symbols.

Raven pricked her ears, dogs. She scurried over to a box and looked out, two dogs on leashes to a hunter, a hunter of shapeshifters. Oh no, she thought as she held as still as she could. The dogs picked up her scent anyway. She forced herself to stay still until the dog was so close she could smell it's breath. She the leaped up high and landed on the dogs back, she was only there for a second before she leaped again, extending her claws towards a jutting piece of bricks. She held on with her front paws, her back paws hanging uselessly. The dog leaped up but before it could bite her she let out a screech of fury and clawed it's face with her back claws. By then the hunter was advancing, Was this the end?

Ender stopped as he realized something. "So Dawn was harboring Jackdaw? Star, this is not good. It's treasonous and will not be taken lightly should the queen find out. But he was using an incognito spell and Dawn is new to our lands. Perhaps that would be in her favor. But I would still tell Lady Dawn.." He stopped short as Avalon addressed him.

Avalon closed her eyes as she felt Sorcha's hand take her own. She squeezed it gently, gathering her strength and composer once more. She sighed and admitted, "You are right as always. I shall call for Racine to be present." Avalon said. She then looked over at Ender and ordered, "Send for King Racine. He will need to be present at the melding." She replied.

Ender turned to his queen. He clasp his fist and struck it to his chest over his heart, as he bowed his head. "Yes, my queen!" He said. But as he turned to leave, he looked to Star once more and sent a silent warning, "tell Dawn to use caution, princess."

Graydon smiled triumphantly, "It seems I'm victorious. I shall now hear your pleas for mercy." He said in a kingly voice. He raised his chin overly high, with a hoity-toity look. creating a ridiculous picture.

Sergio clapped her hands together happily. "Ok! That's a wonderful idea!" She said excitedly.

Orson smiled knowingly down at Kristen. For he too had keenly felt their separation. "Is that right? There will be a test, just so you know." He replied playfully. He then caged Kristen within the strong hold of his arms and leaned over to nuzzle her neck and nibble her earlobe. "But you seemed to have no problems when we ran in the woods after you shifted, my heart. You wouldn't be playing with me?" He asked with a sensuous purr as he licked the bell of her ear. He was addicted to everything about his mate. Her smell, her taste, her voice, but especially her mind. She challenged him on so many levels.

"As am I." He replied truthfully. He savored Ember's casual touches. For in those moments, she was unguarded and opened like a book. "I find it's quite easy to be poetic with you as my muse." He stated with a radiant smile.

Aeval looked down at her hands and said softly. "We must sadly admitt, not very much. we've had only a few quiet moments. But we're here to rectify that lack of diligence. We will not let you down, Aurora. " Aeval looked up to gage Aurora's disappointed.

Ericsson nodded as he watched her walk away. He listened to the soft conversations of the wolves plotting their next attack. But his eyes slowly closed beyond his will. The effects of the day finally taking their toll.

Bob puffed up his feathers for Skylar. He huffed softly as he enjoyed the tickling. "Bob glad he no break rules. But me think, me sleepy. More then a little bit. " He explained with a yawn.

Jaxon walked over and smiled down at the little guy. "Well you do play hard. I'll give you that." He said with respect.

Zypher waited for Anna to shift back to her human form. He'd watched her gathering herself, before she did. She was pure alpha and in her element. She'd been alpha before, but his hyena hadn't really recognized her as his alpha. He'd wonders why it hadn't affected him with a bloodlust, like the other hyena males he'd grow up with. But now he understood with crystalline clarity, it was never something that he could simply give away, the alpha had to earned it from him. Her raw power called to him like no other. Anna was an alpha he NEEDED to follow. He felt it to the very marrow of his bones. And with that revelation, something clicked deep within him, forever changing him. It was a shift in his psyche so profound, that it put his whole miserable life into perspective. All those years of fighting for everything, had prepared him for this moment. An alpha that conquered all, as well as him. "Mine!" His hyena heart cried. Just as he'd fight any and all who tried to take her from him. He looked to her branded tattoo, as he approached Anna slowly. He kept his eyes diverted, so his alpha wouldn't think he was challenging her. He made a soft sound in an attempt to soothe her, before he offered his human neck to her in submission.

The sisters shifted to hyena and didn't bother with baring their necks, they laid down and rolled to their backs in submissive offering.
