Xatia looked to Ember confused. "We to have protection pendants to block bad magic. But communicating through telepathy is not magic. No more then speaking is. But it is a fey talent and not all are susceptible to it. This Markus seems resourceful. And if it is true, he has one of King Racine's spell books, let's hope it's not the Unseelie one." She said softly.
Maxton was called out of his thoughts at her question. "I must honestly admitted, this endeavor is not going as I've planed. Not for the wrong reasons, don't get me wrong. This realm has always been quite primitive magic wise. But here we are, in the in between, meeting two supposedly extinct Oilins, one kelpie and a very rare blue phoenix. Not to mention a white witch and a warlock. There are no quinncidences, Shaylee. Everything happens for a reason and I have a very bad feeling, we're going to need their help." He answered her on their combined link. He then looked to Kallen at his continued silence. "You are quite reserved, my friend. What is your take on all this?" He encouraged.

Cicero nodded politely and admitted, "I'm limited on the knowledge of Oilins. But mating heat is fey related phenomenon. It would affect us all more, if there were not mandates of breeding and rankings. But with all love matches, when a fey meets their soul mate, the twirl is always there. Some will fight it, but it becomes physically exhausting and it only gets harder the longer it's denied." Cicero grew quiet, as he thought of the cases where a fey went mad, due to their soul mates being mated to another. Tragic all around and one of the benefits of being a Sylph, no one wanted to mate them.
