Kyth hurried to the alleyway, following the directions of the kind samaritan. He slowed as he walked into the darkness. "Ummm, hello? " He called out quietly.

"Kyth," Aurienne breathed as she ran to meet him. She was so overcome with relief at his presence that she nearly hugged him, but stopped herself before she could. A smile slighty brightened her face. She looked tired but besides that her expression seemed troubled, as if she was hunted by something. "I'm sorry," she whispered somberly, "I shouldn't have called you like that."

"Sometimes a legend didn't happen in any certain place, though. There's another Elven legend about dragon riders that's a perfect example of that. Dragon riders were humans who befriended and rode dragons and kept the peace between the two species. They would also kill evil leaders, and punish the cruel, greedy, and the laggards. Dragon riders were always traveling, so it didn't happen in a specific place. But that legend is so old that there aren't any elves that have lived long enough to witness it." Islanzadi told him, enjoying talking about stories she had learned as a child.

"It's like the legend of how the Sylphs came into existence. Supposedly there was a great winged beast that terrorized all of Anstropfia. But then he fell in love with a fey princess, he used all his magic to change into a form she could love. But the wings didn't fit into that small form. So they remained at his back. It can't be proven or denied. But I'd like to believe it is true. " Cicero said thoughtfully.

Islanzadi listened to the story curiously.
"That's interesting. Elves actually don't have a legend about how we came into existence, I believe. Which I find rather odd, because most creatures do have some kind of story. It's just natural to wonder how you were brought into the world."
