Aurienne stiffened, at first before sinking into the warmth of his embrace.

At Aurienne's stiffness, Kyth cursed himself for being so forward. But she looked so lost and alone. How often in his underground cell had he felt that, with no comfort to be had. Loneliness was unforgiving in it isolation. "You want to go get some coffee? I passed an all night dinner on my way here." He asked hopefully.

"In my opinion it already has been for nothing, they just destroyed one things home to make a new one for somethings else"
"Well, that's life, isn't it? Foxes steal the dens of other creatures, male lions fight over territory, it's just how things work. Humans just happen to have the ability to be extremely overpowering and destructive." Demeter told him logically.

Aurienne reluctantly nodded In reply. "I'd like that." She smiled, looking up at him. She didn't let go of him, she had been lonely for far too long to not treasure this moment, even it ended like everything else.

Kyth hadn't realized how important her answer was to him, until she agreed. He smiled happily and offered her his hand. "As would I, I was hoping you'd say yes. " He admitted shyly.

(NickyKnack, did you reply to my post? I'm almost certain you saw it, what with the Yoda quote.)

(But I thought it was do or do not, there is no try?  )

Islanzadi nodded in agreement, "Yes, those are very truthful words. You cannot accomplish anything without trying." She said and bowed her head respectively in reply of his formal bow.

( I became distracted with Yoda quote. I meant to come back and answer. :gig )

Cicero smiled happily and was flattered they Islanzadi would bow to him. He then looked up to the tree house and asked, "How long did it take to build something like this?"

(Haha. That's pretty hilarious.

"Well, the tree itself is around 150 years old, and then it took about a month to build the structure on top of it. I suppose that the tree's lifetime may count as how long it took, since it has to be pretty thick and sturdy to hold anything worth living in." Islanzadi told him.

Aurienne looked down shyly before taking his hand. She felt all the pain she had from loneliness being her only friend since her childhood diminish as she stood here with him.

Cicero chuckled at her logic, for he saw the truth to it. "Yes, I believe you're right on both accounts. Thank for explaining it to me." He said with appreciation.
