Jackdaw glanced to Rayne and noticed her lack of levity. He then made an educated guess as to why. "It's really hard always being in the shadow of such a great warrior. Knowing everyone is constantly comparing your achievements to their's. I know this, because my father was such a warrior. I broke by back trying to be as good, if not better then his legend. Until one day, I realized something very profound. Do you want to know what I realized?" Jackdaw asked gently.

Avalon looked ahead as she was flooded with guilt. "We only just realized what had happened. In part by Racine's memory reveal and the return of a lost fae wolf. The one who banished you here, die shortly after. Mt royals had just now found the stone for the portal and the rest you know. I didn't know what had happened to you race. I had initially thought you'd abandoned me, like the Unicorns, unipegs and most the pegasus. There is no excuse for my negligence. But I do want you to know, I am truly sorry." Avalon said with conviction. Her eyes were glazed with unshed tears.

Maxton got a leaf from his pouch. "This has the power to turn a mortal, immortal. But on earth, it can only heal a mortal wound. I know not it's effects in your realm. But I still offer it in friendship. " He explained simply.

Isolde smiled pleasantly and nickered a laugh. " Now I feel so ridiculous for asking. It is quite obvious now that you say it." She said as she noticed the one head focused straight ahead. " That is a assist if you had to long distance fly. You wouldn't have to stop to sleep. " She added thoughtfully.

Jaeger bowed formally to Kallen. He wondered with annoyance why Cicero and Kash were gone so long. "Safe journey." He answered.

Ravek watched the others leave vaguely. He just kept thinking about Shaylee in that monsters hands. He knew first hand what he was capable of. Then add in that demos spawn. The nightmarish possibilities were limitless.

Sandor glanced over and stated bitterly, "Why tear down something they're in no hurry to build on?"
He had Rayne's full attention again and the girl nodded quickly. "What did you learn?" She asked, wanting to be seen as her own person among her peers instead of only her mother's daughter. She loved hearing the stories about her mother, but she hated being compared to her and trying to live in her shadow was so hard.

Nabal reached over to stop her walking with a hand on her arm "Queen Avalon...first, that is wonderful news. That will relieve any tensions from my people if any exists, though I think most will simply be glad to be able to come out and go back as they choose. Second, once we give our word to something, we do not just leave. Our ancestors pledged to protect the king of this realm as well as they were able. WE can talk and determine what if anything is to be done between our people for the future since that king is dead and we now have our own kingdom. We accept your apology." She said then frowned a little "Racine? Isn't that the name of the king that came to my castle?"
~~~
Turoc took the leaf gently and looked at it curiously "Healing? We have special flowers that heal any wound. Some of the elders said it was our equivalent to the Tree of Life. I wonder if they would also bring immortality in this realm or simply stay healing flowers?" He said then smiled at Maxton again "Thank you for this gift"
"Not to sleep, no" Orion agreed with a chuckle "Though our body would have to stop to rest our wings. When two heads sleep is about the only time we are alone. It's kind of odd, but one thing we practice so that we can never be caught fully asleep."
~~~
Kellan caught the wayward thought as he moved to the door "Cicero is on a special mission with the elves of Earth, though Kash should be around somewhere." He told him privately then stepped out and moved to the railing.

Fay stepped into the room from the god's realm and blinked as she looked around the room to see who was there.

"Power" Rana answered and frowned like the word made a bad taste in her mouth. "It has always boiled down to power, either showing it or building it at the expense of others."

"The wolves said they had people in politics still trying to stop the building there." Ember mentioned quietly

Shaylee swam in the giant tank, round and round in useless circles while Danika napped off to one side. She wanted to start throwing herself at the walls to force a way out or something, though she figured they would have thought of that long ago.

Gideon had just returned from taking Markus to the crash on the highway. As he road do the freight elevator, he thought about a crazy plan he was thinking of doing. He'd heard about the truly magical beings that Markus's pet snake had captured. A young unicorn and a waterhorse. Gideon knew they did not belong in this world and they definitely didn't belong down here. He was drawn out of his reverie, as the large elevator doors opened. He started the vehicle and drove it in to park it. He got out and slipped the keys in his pocket, instead of taking them to the lock box on the wall, where they should have gone. He glanced around with only his eyes. Because moving his head in such a manner would definitely draw the attention or the cameras. He walked at his regular slow pace. Not in any hurry at all. He made a small detour in the locker room, off from the berrics. He got the few supplies he'd hid in his locker there. He gathered himself before going to the personnel elevator. He calmly typed in the code to call the elevator to this floor. He paid good money for both of the codes he'd need. Gideon stared straight ahead of him, as he waited for it to arrive. His heart rate quickly picking up speed, as he heard footsteps behind him. But let out a soft sigh, as they continued down the hallway. But he was so attuned to them, when the elevator dinged it's arrival, he jumped slightly. He quickly recovered and got inside when the doors had opened. Once inside, he strategically used the brim of his military cap to hide his face from the camera in the elevator. He slowly entered the code for the floor he wanted and he was off. It seemed like he held his breath the whole way down. He did however have a moment of clarity. Where he wanted to turn back, but by that time, it was already too late. For stopping the elevator now would only give him away. As it came to a stop, he stepped out of it and headed to the holding cell. Once again watching with his eyes and using reflections whenever possible. He fished out the key he'd stolen and slipped it into the lock on the door. Gathering his courage one more time, he turn the key in the lock. As the large iron door cracked opened as he pulled it, Gideon glanced inside. "Hello? " He whispered softly.

Danika raised her head, looking to the door with fear before she heard a voice quietly saying 'hello' She tilted her head then glanced to the water, moving to splash her hand on the surface so that Shaylee would come up. Without waiting for confirmation, the girl walked about halfway to the door, stopping there to look at it and see who was there "Hello" She finally answered back to the male, wondering about him

Shaylee heard the splash and looked up, swimming up to the surface to look around the room then at the door before going to the edge then shifting once she could get out easier.
