Much less fighting that way" Orion said with a shake of his head. "Imagine trying to get six people to live together when they have split into what amounts to two teams and neither team likes the other."

Rana flushed then watched him come around to let her out of the van with a smile. It cost her nothing to let him have that gesture of respect, so she waited to get out when he came to her, reaching for his hand once she was standing
Ember laughed at the rivalry between the two friends. She was glad they could play together and not get upset at little things like this. "Boys, be nice" She said, mock threatening, though she couldn't keep a straight face for it.

"Well, I was way off on that one." Jackdaw said fondly. He then chuckled softly as he sat up again. He looked around the gently swaying grass absently.

Avalon paid Ender's mental outbursts no mind. After last night's break down, this was nothing. The hurt of his rejection still stunned her and the anger of his defection sustained her. While she'd sat at her vanity this morning, while her maidens had done her hair, she'd build a wall around her heart with those emotions. By the time they'd finished it's elaborate style, she'd gained the ability to endure whatever was expected of her as queen. Coming out of her reverie, Avalon held up her goblet to Nabal in a toast. She said in good humor, "May you noble guard, not make mine look too inexperienced."
Spyro had slowly slipped inbetween Ender and Avalon. For it wasn't his place at her right any longer, it was now his spot as her personal Sylph. He looked hard at his brother and looked to where Castiel stood. His meaning perfectly clear.
Ender bared his teeth briefly, before leaving in a huff to stand next to Racine's personal Sylph. A scowl etched upon his face.
Castiel raised an eyebrow at Ender, but knew better then to utter a word about it. He refocused on the sparring.

He fell as he stumble backwards and scurried across the floor in a panic. "HADES HOUND! NO, THIS CAN'T BE! WE'RE ALL DEAD!!! MARKUS HAS SUCCESSFULLY KILLED US!!"
Garmr flushed and looked to her clasped hands in her lap. She'd recognize his scent from Menagerie and was trying to figure why, the same with Garth. His reaction was enough to tell her why she'd known it.
Luce startled at the panicked words, she looked to Jason wide-eyed, before she moved to run out of the kitchen to help somehow.

Zypher smiled lovingly as she moved to kiss him. He savored the flash of passion that stirred to life within him. But with practiced resolve, he put it in check. He looked to his dutiful alpha. Her job was never done and she carried the weight of everyone's problems beautifully. " But of course, I'm sure many would like to see this historic sight and share in it meaning for out future. " He said with consideration of the others. He then leaned forward and kissed her neck tenderly upon her markings. He inhaled her lovely scent before he straightened and offering her his hand. "Shall we? " He said with a whisper.

Sandor look at Rana's offered hand a moment, confused at first, but then realized what she wanted. "Oh!" He said as he wrapped his hand around hers and smiled shyly, but proudly.
Cadeon grinned sheepishly at Ember and setting a childish voice, " He started it!"
To which Navar said as he caught up with them, " Nah, you did!"

Markus shrugged and did as Shaylee predicted, "In all his years of working here, he never once wore a hat. Quite a simple thing to be undone by, don't you think?" He replied honestly. He looked as Pariah finished her task and nodded. He grinned, as he looked into the parking garage and saw that they had managed to lifted the unicorn atop a large flat cart. "Wonderful! Take little miss to a holding cell. This one, you know what to do with him. We'll be along shortly. But first, let's have some fun." He stated, as someone handed him a bottle of water. He uncapped it and poured it's entire contents all over Gideon's face in order to wake him up.
Gideon came awake immediately and sputtered out the water that had gotten into his nose. He then became aware as he looked around frantically. When he saw Markus standing there, he made a soft sound as he got a far away look of total concentration. When he couldn't remember the spell, he muttered a curse in utter panic.
Markus gasped dramatically and asked with a chuckle, "Has something slipped your mind?! I wonder what it could have been?!"
Gideon looked to Markus with resignation, but started shaking uncontrollably. After a long moment, he dared to looked to Shaylee. He had apology in his eyes and gathered himself enough to say, "I still would have done it." It was then two soldiers grabbed him under his cuffed arms and started dragging him away.
