Slygotha was pleased that they would not have to deal with a larger group of people. " You are so very clever to have intercepted that small human and redirected it away from us! I would likely as not have eaten it had it come close enough to see the wyrmlings."
She kept an ear out for any more surprises. Nidhogg peeked out from behind Slygotha's foreleg once she realized the drama was over, and Slygotha nudged her to get back out for more hunting. She timidly looked at her foreclaws before looking skyward and launching up and forward for another round. Slygotha nodded her approval. Looking over, she saw Gugol mastering ambush style swamp hunting, and doing pretty well at it too. Gugol enjoyed hunting in this way; it allowed for napping and didn't require her to expend much energy until the time to snap the prey up in her jaws. Trogdor was kept separate. He would hunt the next outing. Slygotha watched Nevitha, Razeth, and Valstrath working at their respective goals, pleased with their fast progress.

"My time with the fae had taught me restraint. Plus I am sure you deduced that if we'd killed him, his tribe would come hunting the culprit that had done it. I wouldn't call it clever, more cautionary. For had he not left, I would have killed him. You cast me in the best light as possible, my lovely Slygotha. " Reaper replied honestly, as he walked his bulk over to her. He nuzzled the tip of her snout and rumbled to her. He was pleased with how their first outing was going, regardless of their close call.

Rayne smiled at him as her family got everyone settled in to eat supper together.

Kellan shook his head and sighed "That must be where she and Ravek were when she opened the portal to take Danika home and was captured. I do not recognize it or wee any other possible significance." He said and looked back to the screen then back to the two alphas "Attacking her in the void is not a good idea, she can call on her minions to surround us as well as being able to cut off retreat."

Danika startled at the phone ringing and looked to him with curiosity as he pulled out something and spoke to it before addressing her again. She got up and came over to him, looking at his hand where he had held the device. "What is that thing? Why did you talk to it? Who is general Watson?"

Jackdaw said conversationally, "Rayne showed me that Hare here. It is a beautiful animal. It's antlers are a remarkable as well."

Racine was pleasantly surprised by the adornments she'd chosen for him. He smiled softly and spun around for her to see the finished results. "These vestments are very fine. Very fitting for a banquet feast." He said as he wrapped her in his arms and kissed her tenderly. He'd never worn an actual crown before. The weight of it, would take some getting used to. But form this day forth, he'd wear it in honor of their union. He then noticed the forgotten servant and said to Sorcha, "Perhaps, we should take the portal after all. We are honored guests, we really shouldn't be too late."
