Anna looked to the sky to see if there was enough light left before shaking her head. "Grass roll would be better with so little light left." She said, knowing how the sun set here.
~~~
Sorcha listened to them as they spoke, making small comments about how well they were doing or what they could do in the rooms. She liked what they had done so far.
~~~
Bardou thpught about that then shrugged a little "I don't know your highness, what would you like to do?"
~~~
"That seems to be the case with magic, some things are just unexplainable. " Bryan said.
~~~
Shaylee was glad of that, though they now had to get up to the top and out of here. "Come" she said and headed in to push the button to get out of there.

"Just as I figured. Now which way to a field? I know my way around the concrete jungle, but out here, I'm at you mercy, sweet Anna." Zypher said with marked helplessness for effect, as he looked to her with pleading eyes.
~~~
Once they'd finished looking at the grounds, Racine lead them to their command tent. A tent he no longer had use for. He thought with a smile. He then pulled out his chair at the head of the table for his beloved to sit in, while he took up residence beside it after setting Sorcha. He glanced around and waited for everyone else to sit around the large table. He would fill then in on the progress of the new mandates and what was expected of them in the day ahead. There was stunned surprise and muted questions in the atmosphere of the room as Racine concluded.
~~~
Avalon frowned slightly at the absence of inspiration. So rarely was she genuinely asked what she wanted to do. She was the head piece of a kingdom, her wants never mattered. "I don't know. " She whispered softly. Her mind was racing for something.....anything to do. Then she settled upon a possibility. "We could go feed and watch the micro fairies? I've not had much time of late to do that. Is that agreeable to you? Of course, you probably remember when they had their freedom." She explained gently.
~~~
"It would appear that way. Almost like the universe must keep us guessing at all times or we become complacent in our knowledge world orders." Falkirk said enthusiastically.
~~~
Anton hurried in the elevator after Shaylee. He pressed his back against the back wall to steady himself as the elevator closed and started upwards. He looked to Shaylee nervously as they awaited what was to happen next. Be it good or bad, he intended to get out of here.

Anna chuckled and turned to go north to a close field.She made sure he followed her then flopped down in the grass to roll around happily. After a moment of wriggling with her feet all in the air, she rolled to her belly and looked to him again
~~~
Sorcha gave him a smile as she took her seat then quietly listened to him explain to his generals what was going on and their plans. She glanced around at them as they sat in stunned silence and waited for any questions that might come up now.
~~~
"They are still alive?" Oh, yes, I would like to feed them and see them again." Bardou said, getting excited for that opportunity then grinning "At least with the Balors returning to get those flowers, the micro fairies will have a chance to get out again in time."
~~~
Star chuckled softly and sat beside the water, dipping a finger in it. "There should always be wonder in any world, it keeps your imagination alive." She said gently then looked to the others with a smile.
Shaylee had to lean against the wall as the elevator made it's way up into the areas with more lead in them. Ugh, she wished she could just make a portal out of there, it would be so much easier. Just breath, just breath, until the doors opened and they could see where they were.
Shane laughed again "Yes, it is featureless, nothing but white, empty space all around. Pretty disorienting when you see it for the first time. I do not know the specifics of opening portals in or out of it, you would have to ask the fae about that. Somehow they seem to know where they are out here from in there, but I have no idea how"
" I apologise for pestering you so much, Shane. I know I can be a nuisance sometimes, but I am enjoying speaking with you. I suppose I should just be patient and wait for the others to get back," said Asclepius, hoping he had not talked Shane's ear off.
"You have every right to be curious, I just don't have all the answers" Shane said then shrugged. "They will likely return in the morning before the battle." He did not mind talking to the dragon, it was a different way to look at things.
Asclepius brightened at this. "Would you like to see something, one professional to another?" He lifted up the tattered briefcase. " I keep my office in here. It's got a selection of my most useful reference books from my collection. Would you like to see it?" He asked hopefully. "It's my pocket dimension, it's not very big, but it's very useful for storage."
Shane looked at the case and tilted his head then nodded. "That sounds interesting, sure. I have never been in a pocket dimension before." He said, cheerfully.
Asclepius excitedly opened up the case, carefully turning the old number lock on the end until a soft click let him know it was open. Looking around, he asked, "is there a spot we can set this where it won't get shut or moved? I'd hate to go through the hassle of trying to open a portal from inside if someone were to close us in. Or, heaven forbid, steal my study with us inside!"
Shane looked around then went over to a table in the corner "Would over here be alright?" He asked before picking up a paper to write a note on, just in case anyone did come in. "Not sure if you could open a portal into this place or not from inside there with the wards placed around the building." Yeah, all these portal things confused him a bit. Jackie had one open inside that went to her realm but they said the building was protected from a portal into it. Something about them already being inside, but would they still be considered inside if the portal closed and they had to reopen it? He didn't know enough about them to know that.
"Perfect!" Asclepius exclaimed. He opened the case all the way, revealing a curious opening in the bottom as it was set down. There was a ladder leading inside a dimly lit room, not particularly big, about 8×5 feet. On the closer end was an old oak desk with a well loved tufted chair tucked in, a queer lamp that flared up as Asclepius entered, and a haphazardly paper strewn desktop. The other end had a large steamer trunk, closed but not locked. All along the walls were books of all kinds, old, older, some scrolls wrapped in leather and tied with straps, some books bound lovingly by hand, and modern medical texts strewn throughout and organised. The wall above the desk was layered with charts and anatomy studies marked with notes and labeled, with newer charts simply tacked over older ones. There was an oriental rug covering the strange floor. Asclepius gasped at the state of the desk and quickly straightened the papers littering it, looking slightly embarrassed, then looking up the ladder to see if Shane was coming.
Shane followed him inside and looked around curiously "Wow, now this would be a great way to carry around a trauma tent and not leave anything behind because o space." He said then chuckled and shook his head. "Makes me wish I had magic sometimes." He said then looked to the books and scrolls there "You would like our library."
