Kyth watched her enter her apartment and smiled happily at her words to him. He was glad that fate had put him in the right place to help Aurienne out. He turned to head back to his own apartment.

Aurienne decided to take a shower before going to sleep, it had been a while since she last enjoyed that type of luxury. She clothed herself with a robe found in her bedroom closet, and wearily crawled into bed.

The man's back was very itchy and burning from the corrosive, smelly urine, but he knew that it was better than what he saw come out of their mouths. The horror of that sight would haunt his dreams for the rest of his life. The city was an hour away yet, but the roads were slowly getting better and more maintained as he blasted through several more villages.

Slygotha snuffled Nevitha's scaly neck, taking in her daughter's acrid scent, along with Trogdor. Gugol finally caved pretending to be stronger than she was, burrowing into the comfort of the pile.

The man hoped he had enough gas to get there, it was only a half hour now. He finally encountered pavement, bouncing up over the ridge of it with a rusty creak of his tired truck chassis. Now he could get some real speed, as long as the truck held together! Nidhogg struggled, the cords tying her snout starting to dissolve in earnest now. Soon, the first strand would be broken and she would break herself free, she hoped...
The man looked back to make sure she was still there, but was too busy driving to notice her jaws slowly oozing the destructive acid goo.

She nickered to her mate, looking to him then to the ground below. There was a herd of some kind of tiny deer creature that had been spooked by the Balors flying up.

Foneth heard the quiet sound of his approach and cracked an eye to look at him before smiling "Have a good nap?" She asked without moving. He was a dragon, so she had heard him through the ground as he walked.
