Hidden Nests - a solution, maybe

Very clever... I've never had that problem, but I'll keep it in mind. @lcwmt Have you ever had any(other) problems of raising one bantam and the rest are normal? I'm thinking about breeds, because we are making an addition in the coop this coming fall.

This Bantam came as a freebie with our pullets last Spring. "Take her, she needs a good home..."etc. (do I look like a softie...? yeah, well there's that).
She has done well and is fine with this year's chicks even though now, everyone is bigger than she. There have been no issues at all. She is the most reliable layer, is active and fun to watch, flies well. She does not get picked on by the larger birds, is agile enough to handle the kitten before the queen Buff put him in his place....
I think if I was doing it over she would not be the only Banty... I'd have 3.
