Hiding out

Hi, I have three chickens and they are going to be 5 month old on the 16th of the month. They have their own chicken coop in the garden. Every morning I let them out to roam about in the garden. This morning the girls didnt come out! This is really weird because usually they are anxious to run out in the morning. Can anyone tell me what going on with them? I'm worried......

some extra info would be nice to help us determine what is wrong.

it could be there was a predator, or something different there are tons of things that could have contributed to them not coming out.
