I have no water in my incubator but it's still reading at 68%??? HELP!!!

Welcome to BYC!
The link @CTKen gave you is an excellent place for your incubator problem question -- when you post there be sure to include the model of the incubator as the potential causes and fixes for the humidity issue may be specific to the type of incubator you are using. You may also want to include what type of eggs you are hatching, how many you have in the incubator, what day you are on, etc -- essentially, provide as much information as you can

Thank you very much I posted hopefully someone can help!!

Is your climate high humidity? And/or the room the incubator is very humid? Do you only have one hygrometer? Maybe it isn't accurate. Are you seeing condensation form in the incubator ?

Yes climate is very high and I just moved into a new house so I'm thinking maybe this house is more humid if I tape off a couple of the vent holes on the incubator would that help? Or is that a bad idea??

Welcome!

Sorry, I have no experience with incubators, just broody hens but I wish you all the best with the hatch.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
