High-Pitched Quack

Hi there,
My female Rouen Duck has been making a high pitched quack for the past couple of days, and I am unsure as to why. At first I thought she had hiccups, but she has continued to make this noise every day. Does anyone know why she is doing this and what we can do to help her?

Is she laying eggs? If not maybe she is getting ready to?

We're not sure if she is laying as she is kept with two other females overnight, but it looks like she is. Could this affect her quack?

Is she by any chance broody or going? I noticed in my call duck's quacks they tend to be a bit more high pitched than their normal quacks when they go broody.

I will try and either record a video or find a video of a duck making the same sound. I read somewhere that it could be a mould infection in her lungs, but their pond is cleaned daily and their cages are kept clean also.

Okay! That's reassuring to know! I have 8 ducks, she is the only rouen, and quite easily my favourite as she is very affectionate Thank you everyone for your help!
