High protein day, then three hens laid double yolkers! Coincidence or not?

The other day I roasted a grocery store chicken and used the giblets to make gravy. After dinner I tossed all of the strained giblets and veg to the chickens and they gobbled them all up. The next day, THREE of my hens laid double yolk eggs! None of them has ever laid a double yolker before. I would think one or two would be a coincidence, but three?
