I just noticed that the feed I brought home from the store is a meatbird starter. The protein is at 28%, is that okay? The chicks are just few days old.

Hey, I just spoke with walkswithdog about 28% protein feed. She feeds all of her chicks this higher protein food called flock grower until they start to lay. I have also been thinking about doing the same, apparently she has gotten great results. Here are some posts that may help you, I think that I may switch my 10 week olds next time I buy feed. Good luck to you and yours!
