(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Brand new! A little alarming how quickly I became obsessed with everything chicken.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
10 little chicks, 2 weeks and 1 week old.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds (2), Easter Eggers (3), Spangled Russian Orloff, Barred Rock, Buff Rock, Light Brahma, Buff Brahma.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Adorable AND productive (in more ways than one!)
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Dancing, hanging out with my toddler, also...I work a lot.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
One doggy we plan to keep locked out of the chicken area. Full-time lawyer. Travel a ton to Houston and Dallas.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found it a year ago when I started googling about chickens. So much helpful information and so many friendly chicken people!
