Google sez DEET does not kill any of them even adults. It just repels them and prevents them from biting. It says if you want to KILL them on contact you can use PERMETHRIN on your clothes. And it says for the best/most comprehensive protection, then your best bet is PERMETHRIN on your clothes and DEET on your skin. There is also some new product that is like a DEET alternative that’s supposed to be less greasy, healthier, and just as effective. IDK. I’m skeptical LOL I forget the name but it is in this article from the AMC which is a pretty good summary.

Btw, I reread the article and apparently this “new” product I was thinking of has actually been around for a while LOL oh well. I still prefer DEET.
And I have WAY too many clothes to send to that Insect Shield company. Maybe I could do just a few articles of clothing LOL
Or do it myself? Is that possible?
