I’m also in southeast mass but cape and islands area, so I guess it must be much hotter up there on the mainland lol

It must be LOL although the weird thing is we are literally right near/on the water too yet it’s hot lol

On the island we are surrounded by the oceans insulation, so warmer winters and cooler summers. The ocean takes a lot longer to heat and cool than air, so it’s still cold from winter in June. I guess it doesn’t effect you as much if it’s just next to you, not surrounding (?)

No hiking anytime soon.

Supposed to be 99° Tuesday. Yes, 99°. That’s up from the 97° predicted before. LOL it keeps going up.

Supposed to be 92° tomorrow. Slightly cooler but still ridiculous.

There is an extreme heat warning in place from tomorrow at 11am until Tuesday at 8pm.

Heat index values up to 108 expected.
