Our Jubilee Orpington is about 18 weeks old and just recently started crowing in the last couple weeks (he crows so very rarely, I doubt that’ll continue)
Finally caught it on my phone before letting them out for the morning 🤣 I’m sure he’ll get better but I honestly love his ridiculous sound

I hope our wee Harvey will crow like that since it sounds more like an owl and I can sleep through that.

He is 9 weeks old today and is still peeping, so maybe he is taking his time
But by the time he is 18 weeks we'll be around the shortest day in the year, which in Scotland means dark between 4 pm and 9 am.
😆
