I honestly have no clue. I know my incubators are disinfected thoroughly after each hatch, temps and humidity were good throughout. I started with 48 eggs.....took out over half on day 5. I just don't know.

It was very depressing. I will try again in the Spring.

I feel for ya. I have bought 3 batches of eggs and out of 56 eggs, I got 3 babies and one of them died a week after it hatched. My son is very disapointed too, so I set some of the bantam Rhode Island Red eggs my new hens layed here. I also set some half Sebright half Serama eggs. I hope they hatch. I just put them in the incubator yesterday. I guess I wll find out in 20 days or so.

I will just buy hatched chicks if I get really desperate.

Oh, I hope they do great for you. We are already getting quite cold at night here (really early it seems) so I decided I will just wait to try and hatch anything until it gets warmer.
