Hi,I have 4 beautiful chickensI need to find a home for I have unfortunately lost a lot of there flock due to a huge tornado that hit through georgia..(I'm located in waverly hall ga)would like them to go to a new home to make new friends.we were able to clean and make them a pen it took a long time to clear the trees and objects out of the way but they just dont seem to happy.If you have questions please message me I have pictures of them I can share if you would like to see them thanks

I am SO SORRY to hear about the tornado, but I'm happy to hear that at least some of your birds survived. It's understandable that they aren't behaving normally, yet. They're probably in shock mode ... kinda like people are after a disaster. Are you giving them electrolytes and vitamins? That should help them recover quickly.
If you post some pictures in the "Buy~Sell~Trade" or "Animals in Need of Free Re-Homing" forums, you may get better luck. There should also be a State thread you can post under.

How horrible! I can't even imagine the stress and trauma you had to go through...and your poor chickens, too! Hugs to you, and hopes that no such thing ever happens to you again! :hugs
 
I’m so sorry! I’m located in north Ga, but I can’t go that’s far south. I would spend some good time with them to help them recover. After doing some reading I learned that chickens can get depressed after losing other birds. They’re not probably missing their friends and might for awhile. Just give em lots of love and I hope you find a good home for them!
