Got my first sting of the season. Had to add another honey super to my old hive.They are almost ready to cap off that super. Hardly any hive beetle's, that is one really strong hive. My swarm hive is doing well they have larva, and are building comb. Got another package coming in on the 12th. Now if the chickens will start laying, it should be a good season.

Where are you located? No pollen or nectar production here in the NE. Bees were active yesterday, and a couple more decent days and pollen will become available.

We are down in coastal Ga.. Most beekeepers down here are splitting and adding supers. We start early down here, seeing we don't get the winter that most people get, even inland Ga.. Been seeing the bumblebees out in force, a lot of wild flowers in bloom.

Spring Is coming soon here (a friend just 90 miles N had 10" of now on Mon.) Here I heard spring peepers on Mon. and yesterday the tree swallows and black flies returned. One good the other not so good.
