Hiya! New to BYC and new to chickens

Oh, yes, I am crazy all right! My husband is humoring me for now. I showed him a picture of the peeps that his sister is keeping for me until we get the coop up and he asked "HOW many did you get???" I reminded him that we live on a farm, and have cows and pigs (his projects) and farms SHOULD have chickens! Gotta love him

We spent yesterday opening up an area along the fence line in the cow pasture next to the yard to put the coop. It's a prefab shed that is supposed to come Wednesday, but donchyaknow it's supposed to storm (the only day this week to storm too)!
