Hello Cherry and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. Please make yourself at home here and good luck with your move to a new home.

This is a useful link of “How to” BYC guides to take a look at announcements-feedback-issues-guides.3. I’d suggest including your location using the guide in the link. You can use this link to contact members in your area - Find your State's thread.

Best wishes

That's quite a move. I don't envy you relocating all those chickens, but I'm guessing they -- and you -- will like South Carolina winters better than those in Indiana.

Glad you decided to join; it's great to be able to share in the conversations. Welcome!

Thank you! And yes..weather is much better. We lived there for 8 years but came to indiana for elderly family. Time to go back now..I'm glad, but yeah..it will be a chore getting them moved..lol

Welcome to BYC!

Thank you very much...and absolutely I am, in fact..I'm staying in indiana with them for a couple weeks til husband has their new safe coop built at our new home to take them to :)
That's awesome! So many people dump their animals because "I'm moving and can't take IT with me". Give me a break. And you are going the extra mile for your chickens!!

Yep..see that alot and often I taste blood cuz I'm biting my tongue lol. I'm very protective of my flock..and luckily I have a husband who is just as respectable and caring for them...any animal honestly.
