Hlow long have you left them alone for?

Hi,

Just wondering how long chicks can be left for?

As in, if I were to go away over night would I be able to leave out plenty of food and water for them so they would be okay?

They aren't going to be shut in over night, I shall leave them to range in there run... which is VERY VERY everything proof.. so shouldn't let anything in. But they will be able to enter there coop as well to nest.

The foxes stear well clear since they have a run in with my dog last week and lost.

I've left mine for a weekend locked in their predator-proof coop and attached run with full feeders and extra waterers. Everyone was fine when we got home, they hadn't run out of food or water while we were gone. I had quite a few eggs to gather up, though!

We were gone a week recently and I had someone check on them daily for that trip.

I still worried about them constantly, though! It's pretty bad when you spend all this money to go on vacations and all you want to do is go home to your chickens!
