Hmmm...what to do with left over lumber and wood from new coop????

I would almost say that there might be enough to make a little one. My hubby isn't going to want to hear that though, lol. Maybe a small one for banties with it's own little run? Any ideas or plans to help me plot, lol.

You can always build a small coop and tell hubby it's a brooder coop.

my plan for the leftovers is to build an enclosure for a two bay compost pile. I need to find a way to keep the dog out of the compost now, because he's got a really bad chicken poo eating habit. Gross.

Judging by the last few weeks of cleaning up dog poop, he's eating all the surrounding wood shavings too. Great, I can just see myself at the vet now.

So... garden project with my scrap lumber!
