I don't know if my egg turner is working properly. There is a white plastic part near the motor that I am pretty sure is supposed to stick into the yellow part. When the white part is attached to the yellow part the eggs are tilted toward the turner motor end of the incubator. When the eggs are leaning toward opposite end the white part is no longer attached to the yellow part. It looks like it pops out of place as the eggs get turned. I have been putting the white part back into the yellow part everytime I notice this. Is there something wrong with my turner? This is my first time incubating. I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I know what you mean, that little yellow part on the turner slides into the white part, correct? All I could do was plug it in (the turner) then keep a watch and see if it was in a different spot than when I had originally turned it on. The whole rack thing/slidey thing directions are not very clear at all. I had to take tuners out, and when I went to put them abck in, they wouldn't fit.

Exactly! I somehow knocked all of the turners out of place but I got them all back into the right slots. All the directions said was to find the notch in the incubator for the cord to go through and plug it in.

I had that happen too. But once I got everything lined up and the piece snapped back in place, I've not had any problems.

I had the same problem.. I actually just took the white strip off mine and it does fine.. I was swaping between quail and chciken cups so much it was just simple to leave it off...
