Tigris yawned, and stood up. She stretched, and walked over to TAube, resting her head on Taube's lap.

Taube looked down at Tigris and smiled a soft smile. She silently stroked her(his?) head.

Tigris purred (Tigris is a girl. I had the same problem, I forgot for a while if Tigris was a boy or girl!

okay, I was just making sure.) Taube continued stroking Tigris's head, and let her mind wander.

Tigris opened her blue eyes, and stared at Taube reassuringly, as if she were reading her thoughts.

Taube almost jumped back, but decided against it. No need for her to lose her writing hand two days before exams.

Tigris licked Taube's hand, then walked back to the fire-place to sleep again.

Taube smiled and pulled her hood down, revealing that her hair had been cut short. She waited for a reaction from anyone in the room.

Charlotte looked up from her boook and looked at Taube's hair. "Wow, you look nice Taube. Who cut your hair?"

"Thanks. I did it in the bathroom this morning while looking in the mirror. Is the back okay? I had some trouble with it." Taube replied. Til just gaped at her new haircut, suddenly thinking she looked WAY better than before.
