Lyra woke and went to the Great Hall. She arrived just as they started passing out scedulas. She grabed a pancake and at quickly. She was a late sleeper. She looked at her scedual. She had DADA first. "

Ashley sat alone at the end of the table, staring at nothing in particular. She poked her fork at the eggs on her plate, thinking. Putting her fork down, she held her head in her hands, staring down at the plate. She gingerly pushed it away, as if it was "The Monster Book of Monsters".

Adrian looked at Ashley, "Whats wrong?" He asked her taking his fork and poking her eggs then plopping them in his mouth, he chewed then swallowed. "Needs more salt." He stabbed at the eggs again taking another bite and gulping it down.

Ashley looked up. "Huh? Oh, just tired," she replied, smiling at Adrian. She giggled slightly at his comment about the eggs. She pointed her wand lazily at her goblet, whispering a spell under her breath, turning it a light shade of blue. Picking it up, took a sip, and looked up. "Looks like it's gonna rain today," she murmured. Even though she liked rain because it made her calm, she could really have used a different type of weather: Ash was afraid to fall asleep during one of the classes. "So what's your first class?" she asked, changing the subject.

"I've known you for 5 years, and you still don't know that?" Adrian asked pretending to sound hurt, he picked up her bacon and started chewing it, "It needs more salt." Adrian turned feeling someone nudge him, he was suprised to see Rosalinda who was holding out a saltshaker, "Here." She laughed turning back to her own plate.

Ashley shook her head, smiling. "No, it's just every time you say it, you make it sound funny," she said in a giggle-ish voice. She turned, looking down the table.
