We just moved to Puerto Rico (I'm half) where there are hundreds of feral chickens running around our small city property. Naturally, hubby and I built a small coop to start a home flock. Our plan is to capture a few, get them used to their new home, and then let them out to forage during the day. Hopefully, they will return to roost in the evenings.
So far we've caught a hen with both of her 2 babies (in our yard) and they've been in the coop for a few days. They are eating, drinking, and scratching around.
Hope you're all doing well,
