Wow, I had no idea he had horses. When I was there a couple weeks ago picking up birds he asked me what other critters I had at home. That is a pretty long list and so I just told him what other birds I had. I didn't mention that I raise horses. Wish I had known, would have loved to talk to him about his horses. I raise Gypsy Horses (very different than Paso Finos!) but have always loved the Paso breeds.

X2, we have smooth breasted in our breeding program, but our curlies are CURLY, not a bunch of half curly to no chest curl. It is easy for anyone to collect 50+ Sebastopols that aren't quality breeding stock.

Look else where, lots of great breeders such as Pips&Peeps and CottageRose to name two. Those who truly love the breed and want to better it won't collect just any bird to breed to make a buck with.

We love the birds we have gotten from both above mentioned sources. Great heads, wonderful curls and sweet personalities and they are willing to share knowledge and answer questions.

Just 2 cents of info from a buyer who is very satisfied with the animals received.

It took me ages to finally find some that I was fairly happy with and still lots of scope for improvement. Just take your time and Im sure you'll find some beautiful birds. The USA has some fantastic quality Curled Sebastopols though I personally also like the Smooth breasted which are recognised here in the UK
