Hole in chest??

Ming Ming is eating like a champ is quite the scrappy little thing.
I just really worry about his chest.
Hopefully as he continues to gain weight it will be okay.
Any other thoughts on this?

Does he seem to be having any problems breathing? if not then i wouldn't worry but keep a watchful eye.. Probably in a couple weeks you'll never know it was there.

No. He seems fine. I suppose it's more disarming to look at than anything.
He's eating great so I hope you are right that in a few weeks, I'll never know it's there.

Got a good look at him last night when they came home for bed.
I'll have to post some new pictures.
It is looking better now that he's eating good. The feathers over that one area are bright white while the rest of his underside is still stained brown.
Almost looks like he's got a heart shape on his chest! I'll have to post the new pictures.
He REALLY needs to go through a molt to lose those stained feathers, but I do think he's looking a lot better now that he's gaining weight.
He just didn't have the breast meat and fat on him like the others do.
As I've said, he eats like a pig, so I hope with time it becomes less and less noticeable.
I do however think he will always be smaller than the others. My little MIng Ming.

Great news that he is filling out.. just keep pouring on the TLC.

He is precious! This may be a silly question but have you inspected the area yourself?? I know when our duck got attacked by a dog a few years ago her feathers covered the wounds so we had to move them aside and actually inspect them to see healing progress. If he lets you, I would hold him and have someone else gently brush those feathers aside until you can see skin and determine if its a hole or not.

Keep us updated!!!!

We have.
My husband held him last night and then I held him so we each got a good look.
No actual hole.
It almost feels like the soft spot on the top of a baby's head.

Here's the picture I took last night.
Almost looks like a white heart on his chest! LOL
Like I said, kind of feels like the soft spot on the top of a babies head.
I didn't want to put too much pressure on it when checking him out.
