⠀ hole in eggs

One of my hens lays eggs that consistently have a hole in them. The holes are about 1/2" diameter. I recently started mixing oyster shells in their food, but so far, the holes persist.

There is a hole in the shell. the rest of the egg is intact.

Could it be a peck hole? Sometimes chickens will peck a hole in an egg.

Peck hole, or somebody's big foot stepping on it... I have a silkiecroo who has a bad habit if milling through the henhouse andcsteps on eggs if they get laid under the roost.... Any peck holes usually cause a frenzy and everyone will trybto eat it and all I find is remains...

Watch for an egg eater or a fat foot
