Hole in my quail neck. This can't be normal, right?

Dang I wish someone had an answer! I just noticed my three week old coturnix chick has two of these indentions symmetrical on the back of his neck like this

Are these actually wounds or just unfeathered pink skin on a fledging bird? I’ve had a few double takes on my 2-3 week old birds under the wings, around the shoulders, arm pits etc. freaky to look at but normal skin just not covered by feathers yet. No blood, no scabs, no actual holes don’t worry about it!
