Hole Path

Hi! Ive recently joined this page and I’m so excited!! Everything I’ve read on here so far has been so informational and it’s helped a lot with raising my chickens this year.
Recently I’ve noticed these holes randomly around the chicken pen. Just in one spot. One appears to be leading into their pen like a smaller ‘path’ if you will, going horizontally but the others I don’t see going to anywhere they’re just smaller but still kind of in the path. I filled the holes in originally, just patting the dirt back over and applying pressure but they’re back.

What could it be?!

I attached pictures I hope they’re clear enough as it’s hard to capture but I can try to take more at a different angle if need be.

if it looks like a animal trying to dig under your fence, lay wire flat on ground attached to fence will discourage them. Could it be rats, squirrels or gophers?

They appear to be skunk or squirrel activity.
