Holiday sales in a year with TP hoarding

Our local grocery stores put limits of 2 meat items (beef, pork or chicken) Per person due to the shortage. I think people will panic even more now. I’m in upstate NY.

Oh wow that’s insane. It hasn’t hit us too bad that I know of but the price of meat has gone up a pretty penny.

I know people complain about hoarders but sometimes hoarding is good when you’re trying to save money if meat will just keep going up. But hoarding within reason like what you’ll actually eat not hoarding to the point of all the hoarding meat gets freezer burn and ends up getting dumped.

Folks aren’t just yakking about it, they’re doing it.

I am super small time and I sell my maybe Olive Egger (not positive till I see eggs) and mixed bantams fast. My husband got upset with me for hatching eggs. Now he wishes I would have hatched more.

Make some profit. There is nothing wrong with that. Please, just think twice before gouging people. If times do get tough we need to help each other. It might be raise your own food and trade with your neighbor days again. Thank you.
