HOLY CRAP! I have 2 sets of twins!

Can anyone give me an idea if this air pocket looks ok. We're incubating 3 Muscovy eggs in a home made incubator and have never done this before. I believe this egg was around day 22 to 24 days old. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

Muscovy eggs take 38 days it's normal not to see the air pocket ( in my case ) until day 30 @ Karen

they are supposed to take about 35 days, perhaps your incubator temperature is too low? Or was this incubated by a mother goose?

@buff goose guy Thanks for the response, the eggs are at day 33-34 and I have two that internally pipped this weekend but nothing external yet. Do you know how long it takes for them to pip externally? I'm worried something could happen to them. These eggs fell out of a nest and my daughter and I are trying to save the ducklings and we're not sure how long they can last once they pip internally.

No that's what was in the booklet for the brinsea incubator .

I agree. Muscovy have always been 34-36 days, TOPS, for me. But sometimes they will take longer if the temp is too low.

Any updates on the twin egg??

My temp says 100.7 and will drop to 99.8 at night is that not right .

It's a brinsea? It should be 99.5 all the time. That temperature they will hatch early.

Hmm wierd it's been 38 I mean they start to hatch on day 35 but fully hatch on 38

Idk it is Mississippi and it's in the feed building so no airconditioner anyway it's been working great.
