Yep..she wont.

I asked can you please watch the girls on our anniverary? We would like to have dinner out, Jeron will already be gone on a youth group trip, so it'll just be the girls.

She said no, she's already watched the girls this yr (lol yeah that night and not even due to me asking..)...and she'll probably be tired from watching
the other kids...

(grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)...

I didnt even NEED or WANT or ask her to take my girls that night ...andyet she is going to use that...

Well that's downright snotty. "I can't because I already made plans, but could I watch them ___ instead" or something like that would be one thing, but "I already watched them once THIS YEAR?!" or "I'll probably be tired from watching the other kids?!" Something is not right here. Under these circumstances, I would not be very happy about having her watch my kids at all--better to find a reliable and trustworthy babysitter. I don't know if she dislikes you or your kids, but something is off.

Yep..its my MIL and she and I were BEST of friends..seriously..BEST BEST BEST...she loves my kids; always says how good behaved they are compared to the "other" grandkids etc..
but she feels she has to watch the other kids because: the mom (my SIL) is nutty; she just can't handle the kids she has and yet they keep having more kids.., the kids that are old enough to
be IN school are NOT and they sorta homeschool so they really dont know how to read/write or even count. The 8 yr old counts to 10 then she says 11, 12 and skips all around after that..

(dont get me started lol)...so b'cuz of the complete lack of interest in our children anymore and it all goes to them and to give my SIL a "break" every tuesday..then a couple more days a wk
to do errands..it has made me start to be resentful..and I'm not pretty when I'm that way..and I dont like it..so th eonly way I can handle that situation and not end up nasty is to
pull myself away from the friendship...because honestly; she doesnt OWE us anything..she doesnt OWE my kids time..ya know??

DH even said "We are not asking my mom anymore to watch the kids unless its an emergency"
Even he is tired of it..

Soo..it is what it is..but I just was informed earlier today that my Pastors Wife is trying to make arrangements to watch our girls OVERNIGHT on friday the 25th so hubby and I can have a night for our anniversary! I really hope it
pans out..she is a wonderful lady who we help out a lot with taking care of her kiddos while they do a lot of older youth events etc..

So I am hoping God is pouring out his blessing to give hubby/I a night to ourselves! We are already tentatively making plans...I think we are going to go to a dinner theater about an hr away..

Put a LOT of effort into finding two girls who can babysit. One is backup if the other one can't.
