How long is it? Longest one we ever got was just over 3 inches. That is one humongous egg you have there. I have had several double yolkers, but no triple yolkers. Actually, one of my hens Did lay a triple yolked egg - and it was pretty normal sized too. It happened to be passed on to my friend who bought a dozen from me. Figures. I was sad I had missed it.

thanks for measuring!!! I can't wait to hear an update on how many yolks are in it. Ours like it only had two, but it made the Best egg sandwich - Yumm...!!

I've gotten several like that. I look for a dead hen when I get one that big. Did you guys hear the story of the guy who hen found dead and then found a egg to weight almost 5 ounzes. Poor girl.
