Holy quail eggs!

Well, I had a huge amount of eggs, button and coturnix. Some were pretty darned old, but I decided, what the hey, and tossed 120 eggs into the incubator. I'm curious to see what all hatches.

Hey I had button quail eggs hatch after 9 weeks of being in the cold. Crazy fertile birds!!!

Geez! And here I thought I was bad, with my 37 coturnix and 20 button eggs in the bator, then the other 50+ coturnix and 12 buttons waiting to go in!! At least I'm not going to be the only one with stinky quail babies in the house!!

Lol. I'm breaking down some of my large fish tanks specifically to brood these guys, lol. Hopefully I get a good hatch and I can find some local customers who are willing to pay $1 per chick, lol.

People snatch them up for $1 here, the coturnix anyway. I haven't sold any buttons unless they were pre-ordered. I don't want to be stuck with a ton of buttons that no one wants! I just can't bear to cull them

I'm looking for buttons in allentown....how far are you?...any chance you're going to the chickenstock on the 18th?......

I'm two hours and fourty-five minutes away from Allentown. I may be willing to make a road trip for a gas fee (shouldn't be too bad, I have a four banger). Unfortunately, I probably won't be going to chickenstock... Where's that one going to be?
