My 23, 6 week olds are eating 16 pounds of grain per day right now

YIKES!!! I have 12 of the little cuties only 1 week old. I was shocked how huge they were when I picked them up from Ideal at only 1 day old. They have almost doubled in only one week! They are in a huge tote right now in the same pen with 4 week old silkies. I was wondering if I could put them out on the ground with them or if they were too young. They are almost the same size. Any suggestions?
