Anybody else here into making adult beverages? Blackberries are in full turn about here and I'm about to make 5 gallons of that. I'm also pretty new into brewing beer. In the past I've made muscadine, blueberry, tomato, and strawberry wines. I've always only really sampled making gallon batches of wine and for years now the family complains because I wasn't making enough. This is my 2nd year doing 5 gallons.

I haven't made wine but I supply some ingredients for someone to make me Raspberry Peach Wine. It's amazing!
I completely understand your family complaining you aren't making enough some homemade wines are delightful!

I ❤ fermenting...currently making wildcrafted smooth sumac wine, along with banana. Daylily and elderflower are aging now, too.

The black locust didn't bloom this year (late frost?), so I didn't get to make more of that delightful wine, but chickweed and deadnettle are always plentiful in spring around here...and the wine is unique and tasty. Also made dandelion and a mixed wildflower (wild rose, honeysuckle, red clover, and chicory flower) that are wonderful.

a week ago I bottled two 3 gallon batches of lager beer.
next week I will be bottling the first of three 5 gallon batches of blackberry wine.
all three batches are ready for bottling.
but I will do just one at a time.
after i empty about 24 bottles of beer, I will start a 3 gallon batch of ale or lager.
I bottle the beer in Grolsch flip top porcelain capped bottles.. I wish I had about 50 more of them.. they are expensive on ebay..
