Thomas went to his room and got into bed, tired from the day's events.

(So, until morning, Dr. Mythe is unavailable to role play with.)

Janette dabbed at her eyes with a handkerchief. She tucked it back in her pocket, took a sip of water, then looked Emily in the eye. "My dear, I'm so very sorry to hear that," she said honestly. "My parents both died in a tragic accident as well."
After a moment of quiet, she asked, "Would you care to tell me about the strange things?"
Emily looked up when she had finished, to find Nurse Janette drying her eyes on a handkerchief. She revealed that her parents were also taken from her in an accident. Emily felt bad for her, and for making her cry. "I'm sorry too" Emily said.

The strange things...She wanted to know about Dean. "My foster parents were scared because I knew things. Things that I couldn't have known. Things that were told to me by Dean. He came to me after the accident when I arrived at their house. He told me once late at night that the house was going to burn down. I went into their room and just stood there not knowing what to say, because they already thought I was crazy. Dean kept yelling for me to do it now, and I asked him how I should do it without scaring them. The woman woke up and saw me talking to myself and that was the last straw. Early in the morning, the smoke alarm was going off and the attic door had smoke pouring out it. I tried to explain that I was trying to warn them the night before. They blamed me for the fire and sent me away."

(Wow. Emily's story gets sadder by the second. )

Janette's eyes widened as she listened. "Was everyone okay? After the fire?" Was her first question, though she had many more.

"We were all fine but had to stay in a hotel. I was only there for 2 days then the social worker brought me here." Emily replied.

"Well, at least no one died," Janette said. She scribbled down something on the notepad, then returned her attention to Emily. "Now, who is Dean?" She asked concernedly

Emily bit her bottom lip, trying to decide how to tell Janette about Dean. "Show her" Dean's voice breathed in her ear, making her jump. Of course! The medical document! "I have something to show you." Emily said, retrieving the folded up medical document from her pants pocket. "I found this in my old room." Emily unfolded it and handed it to Nurse Janette. She sat there quietly watching the nurses' face to see how she reacted.

Janette's face remained calm and normal as she skimmed the document. "Was he kept here, do you think?" She asked quietly.
